The new V3 from LaserLyte is the smallest rail mounted laser ever produced by the company. It requires only ¾" of rail space and at less than half an ounce, you'll barely notice the additional weight. Four 377 1.5 Volt batteries provide as much as 10 hours of total run time with the laser in pulse mode, while the auto-off feature automatically shuts down the laser after 5 minutes of use. The unit flashes a unique notification light to alert the user for 1 minute prior to shutdown and is reset with the press of a button.

2009 NRA Golden Bullseye AwardThe Version 3 can mount directly on all the 3" barrel subcompact railed pistols and all other railed weapons. The laser features an integrated cross lock bar, hinge clamp system and a quick detachable release.

Sorry to say I haven't had a chance to zero it but the rough adjustment took just a few turns of the adustment screws with the supplied allen wrenches (as well as the mounting tool). As for durability, I accidentally let my brand new Kel-tec PF9 slip out of hand and dropped it on the concrete garage floor squarley hitting the new lazer on the front left corner. How do I know? The paint from the floor on it was a good indicator. It took the whole impact. I thought that was it. I couldn't believe it when I hit the switch it turned on like nothing happened and continues to work like new to this day. Yes, I did have to readjust it along with the rear sight on the gun. Money well spent I think. As long as I don't drop it again.

Got the laser today for my Ruger P95. Mounted easily but the laser is pointing about 15 - 20 degrees to the left of point of aim. I mounted it on 2 different rifles (Marlin 60 and a Ruger Mini-14) with Picatinny rails with the same results. Like the size and ease of use but I'll never hit anything with this laser as it is.

Just got the laser in the mail and it doesn't work. It will not stay on longer than a couple of minutes? After that it stays off for 10-15 minutes? I haven't even had a chance to fire pistol to see how it handles recoil.
