5.0 Rating The replacement worked better. - 12/10/2011ArmaLaser Stingray, 5mW Laser, Fits Sub-Compact Pistols5.0000

After CTD took back the original Stingray laser that would not adjust properly I received the replacement in only a few days. The new Stingray worked perfectly and adjusted to the sights on two different handguns with no problems. I guess I just got a defective unit the first time. This unit is nice and small and definitely brighter than other similar lasers. Thanks to Cheaper for replaceing the original with no questions and sending a replacement so quickly.
5.0 Rating Extremely Nice - 11/5/2011ArmaLaser Stingray, 5mW Laser, Fits Sub-Compact Pistols5.0000

This is my 2nd Stingray 635nm laser sight. I can't say enough about how well these are made. The laser itself is brighter than all other brands of laser sights I've seen, it has a extremely solid build and stays securely on your weapon, with it's dual screw and nut fasteners, (as opposed to many others, that only use a single screw to secure it to the weapon). It stays zeroed in, on both my SR40 and my SP2022 9mm. Daylight use is not a problem at all. Plus this is a very small, and very light, laser sight. Replacement batteries are cheap, and easy to find most anywhere! I like the mechanical switch, but some may see it as a draw back. Lastly, in my opinion, it's well worth the money, and comes with a great warranty from ArmaLaser, if your considering this laser sight for your handgun, buy it, and you will love it!
5.0 Rating Best Laser I've used! - 10/12/2011ArmaLaser Stingray, 5mW Laser, Fits Sub-Compact Pistols5.0000

I took off another 650nm laser, both cheaper, and smaller. It had a hard time keeping zero'ed. This Stingray SR2 fits my SR40 perfectly, and had it zeroed in under a minute. It's fit is very secure, and the 635nm laser is twice as bright as the 650nm laser. I just use my SR40 as home protection, and target practice, so no need for a holster. The mechanical switch might or might not snag on a holster, but I can't speak to that. CTD got it to me very fast, just 2 days from the time of order, to my doorstep! Thanks CTD! Overall, this is one great laser sight, & well worth the money. If you choose one of the less expensive laser sights, you will get what you pay for. Very impressed!
2.0 Rating Mine wouldn't adjust - 10/9/2011ArmaLaser Stingray, 5mW Laser, Fits Sub-Compact Pistols2.0000

Although this laser seems well made and was definitely very small it would not adjust properly in elevation and would always aim very low. After trying it out on two very different pistols I sent it back for an exchange. Cheaper Than Dirt had no problem taking back the defective item. I will write another review when I recieve the replacement.
5.0 Rating Small and Very Bright - 4/19/2011ArmaLaser Stingray, 5mW Laser, Fits Sub-Compact Pistols5.0000

This is my favorite laser now. I researched all the sub-compact laser systems available for my Walther PPS and took a chance on the Stingray because it was the only one that I didn't actually test out before buying. I chose it mainly because it was the only one available in 635nm wavelength while all the others are 650nm. I can tell you it is a huge difference, the Stingray is much brighter than the others and well worth the money. The Stingray is also much smaller than the rest although you can't really tell from pictures you can definitely see the difference in person. It barely squeaks into my DeSantis holster and any of the other lasers would have just been too big. The downside is that because it is much smaller, so are the batteries, plus the fact that the laser itself is putting out more light means you need to change batteries more often but that is a small price to pay for higher performance and a smaller size. I give it 5 stars and after 300 rounds it has kept zero and functioned flawlessly. I have owned many different laser models but this is my first from Armalaser and I am impressed. Thanks CTD!
