This works great on my C93, just need to practice on installing the mount, dismounting is easy. I never had a problem with the mount moving while shooting either (over 200 rounds so far). Great product, I recommend it.

Good quality. Solid. Plopped on a couple of dabs of JB Weld in front of the claws to make sure it didn't slide forward under recoil. Wouldn't do it to my H&K, but what the heck...it's a CETME, so...

I purchased one of these for my CETME. CTD has excellent service and shipping, it arrived in only a couple of days. The Claw mount does fit so tight that the bolt won't cycle. I to chose to file the clamping lever instead of the claws. When I had what I thought was just right, I took it to the range to try it out. Within four shots it had worked it's way to the ejection port and left scratches along the sides till the ejection port flare stopped the movement of the mount. I would not recommend or buy this mount if I had it to do over. The CETME is a battle rifle not a sniper rifle as I learned.

Unfortunately this mount does not fit properly on a german made HK-91 or an SR9 without modifying the mount with considerable filing. I suppose better too tight than too loose, but be prepared to file and modify it to fit any HK weapon.

Mounted on my PTR91, fits tiight BUT the scope is 2 feet high at 50 yards, put a cut down washer b/t mount and rail, still way high, anymore shimming and rail won't fit in groove in mount. tried another set of rings, same problem, seems to be the mount.

It was tight on the receiver of my CETME. The bolt would bind in the receiver due to the compressing of the claws. I chose to file down the locking lever instead of the claws. Very little material had to be removed where it fits into the caming area of the claws. I filed this area down just until the bolt cycled without binding. Went to the range and within 20 rounds, the mount had walked forward until it stopped at the ejection port. Zero changed just as little with each shot. I wouldn't order this item again or recommend it to anyone trying to scope a CETME.

I got mine a few weeks ago, and slapped it on my Cetme. The only reason it got four, was I had to file down one of the teeth so my action would function. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

This is a solid mount. Locks in tight on both my CETME and C93 Sporter. Both rifles function great with it. For some reason on the C93 it fit much easier with the mount release lever on the left hand side, not on the ejection side. No biggie. I am very happy with this purchase, 5 bullets.

No complaints about quality of construction. But gripped CETME receiver so tightly that the bolt would bind. My gunsmith opted to file where the release lever latched instead of all four feet. Great fit and rock solid now.

I should have read the description more carefuly and noticed that there is no mention of MP5's. After an hour and a half of major modification involving a grinder (removing both bumpers and grinding down both stationary and piviting claws) I was able to get it to fit my Cohare MP5 clone.

I just got my new claw mount, after about 5 minutes of study I deceided the correct way to install the mount was the locking cam side on left side of upper receiver. Just open it up clip right side of fixed claws on receiver, rotate mount until left side is in groove then pull down on locking lever until release lever locks onto groove on cam, simple, fits perfectly and tight as hell. Good product

I got this for my Century Arms CETME. It fit a little snug the first time I tried to put it on, tight enough that it prevented the bolt carrier from cycling. All I had to do was file a fraction of a millimeter off of each claw and it works great now. Rock-solid fit.

I bought this claw mount for my Century Arms CETME and I couldn't be happier with it. It is relatively easy to install, event though it doesn't come with instructions. Once it is on, it is as solid as a rock. I have put 300 rounds downrange with it, and it hasn't moved. I also used the quick detach a few times, and it returns to zero within on half MOA each time. It is a third the price of the original factory mount, and it serves the same purpose just as well.

I just got this today and I have to admit it was a very, very simple installation. It fits very snug and makes my G3 look very B/A! I tightened the rail up along with my new scope and I Took it out and shot it. So far nothing is loose so I'd say it's worth the $$.

My UTG Gen II G3 Steel Claw Mount arrived via SmartPost in three days. I studied it carefully and installed it on my PTR-91 without any difficulty. It locks tighter than a barnacle on a whale. Attach right side first aligned with grooves on receiver. Depress top tension bar and lever bottom cam to low position below slot on left side of mount, then roll cam upwards into detent. Raise lever to upright position after cam locks in place on left side for a perfect fit. Release top tension bar. I hope my instuctions help with mounting, as none are supplied with mount. The great appeal of this mount is its picatinny top rail. Don't know if this mount is as strong as HK one but it is 1/3 the price, fits well, and probably will serve well. Also, it allows use of open sights.

After buying a new PTR-91 and being very excited about having a 7.62 AR style rifle, the only logical next thing to do is trick it out! Well after receiving this scope rail/mount (very quickly BTW)I was disappointed when after trying to mount it, the pin that rotates the cam sheared off before the mount locked into position. Not only did the mount not fit it also left a few nasty scratches on my receiver. Well after looking more closely at the differences between this mount and the original $$$$ H&K mount I noticed that the H&K is machined and the UTG is Cast, so after buying a fine jewelers file and cleaning up/filed the edges of the claws and cam action I finally got the mount to fit very snugly on the rifle and minus the few scratches which are not visible with it mounted, It looks great and seems to be locked to the receiver with no play or backlash. All in all I would say if you’re willing to work a little at cleaning up the edges it’s a good buy, especially at less than half the price with a rail mounted on it.
