I liked that I could remove that whole mount with the QD lever if I wanted to. Unfortunately, I felt the quality of this item was sub par. It was not smooth when deploying the magnifier or sliding it to the side. Also, as the title states, SLIDE. It is not spring loaded. I would have gone one bullet but it does serve a purpose and works, just not as well as I would have liked. CTD took my return no problem.

I bought it to work with my Barska 3x magnifier and red dot sight because the Barska magnifier came with a rigid mount. It works as it says it does; just gets kinda floppy once you slide it a few times. In the locked position, it has slack. I was hoping for a bit more for the money.

This is an okay mount. My complaint is that it's NOT centered with my EOTech. When the magnifier is up and in use, the sight is slightly low and to the left. Beside that, I have no other complaints. Always keep in mind that you get what you pay for, which is why there are mounts out there that cost a lot more. It should be fine for plinking down at the river, but if you are in law enforcement or military, I do NOT recommended this mount!

This mount seems very durable and mounted easily. my only complaint is the slide mechanism is very tight at first. i thought i was going to break the thing trying to slide it. after the first slide it loosens up. very good buy.

I have this for a few months now and love it. I've fired around a 1000 rds with it and it's still tight. Have not had a problem with it sliding over in front the ejetor port. I just mounted it to slide to the left side. It's nice on the 100 and 200 yrd. ranges. Have mine with a 5x sight mark scope and a eotech red dot. It all lined up right out of the box with a little tweak here and there for spot on shooting.
