I really wanted to like this sight, but I had to send it back twice. The first one had a really loose elevation screw, so every shot with my 22/45 made the point of aim start to wonder way off target. Sometimes, as much as a half turn of the screw with just one mag. I exchanged it for a new one and it did the exact same thing as the first one. Plus, the new one would magically turn itself on and off while shooting. Another small complaint I have with the sight is that when you adjust the windage, it would also change the elevation, and vice versa. So, if I moved the dot up a bit, it would also move to the left almost as much. This sight has the ability to be a great sight at a great value, but they have some major issues to work out first. Now, I’ll probably fork out the extra money for a Burris, but at least then I’ll get something that works. And FYI, CTD did a great job with the returns; great service.

I recently bought this sight to put on my ruger 10/22 after doing a ton of research on a cheap, yet quality holo. It arrived VERY fast, great job CTD on the excellent shipping service. The sight came in a pretty nice packaging, much better than the price would imply. It is much smaller than I anticipated, probably more for a pistol. It came with one battery pre-installed as well as an extra. I had to get a wider sight rail for my 10/22 as the stock one was too small, but I saw that coming, and mounting was pretty straight forward from there. First problem I ran into was that the switch has 3 settings, Off, 4 MOA, and 8 MOA (brighter) as stated in the included instruction booklet. NOT 3 MOA as stated on this website. Second problem I had was I could not get the thing to turn off at first. What happened was the battery rests on the mounting part of the sight and grounds out, effectively bypassing the switch. I had to put a small piece of tape on the battery in order for it to not make contact. After getting that all sorted it has performed very well, 200 rds so far and still zeroed in. For the price you can't go wrong!

Got this for my Bushmaster m4 and put it on my trijicon acog 4 x scope. I didn't want to spend another 1000 for the doctors sight so I bought this and a clone adapter and I took the original base off the mini red dot and put it on my acog adapter plate. It took some drilling, but the holes lined up perfect and all I needed to do was make this wider and pick up some matching allen heads. Took her out and it holds up quite well. Shot 200 rounds or so and at 50 yards I can hit cans. It's pretty cool having the backup on the top of my acog, I highly recomend it! 4 bulletts because I had to mod it work. I took a chance and it worked out. I wiish they had more detail about how the base works. It just comes off and bolts right up with some mods.
