I bought this for my Mossberg 500. I am converting it to a tactical shot gun for home defense. I like the sight and at the range it is easy to sight in. For the money i spent i think its a great product.

This is a good buy, you get what you pay for. I bought this for my Mossberg 500. Overall, it is good construction and a solid mount. The lens looks like it was super glued into place to secure it in. The battery last about 1.5hrs on the highest setting #7. You are also able to change your dot to four different styles. One draw back is that it took a while to zero it it because it doesn't allow you to adjust down as much as you need if you have a high rail. Also, on a bright sunny day the dot is faint, but works great otherwise. I am placing an order for another one to put on my AR.

I was very curious about holographic sights where I could keep both eyes open. I bought this for my Mossberg 500 with a Leapers rail. As others have observed, it is not very bright in sunlight and after 50 rounds of 12 gauge, it lose zero. But not by much. The battery lasts about two hours of continuous use and about three months of intermittent/occasional use. I also have a second unit on my .223 AR-15 as well. That one has not lost zero and is perfect. Based on other comments below, I guess I have been lucky -my glass has not fallen out and both units have been rock solid and work like champs.

Works good on my 10/22, put 250 rounds through it and didn't have a problem other than not bright enough on a real sunny day.

Works good had problems with the on/off switch because it doesnt say on/off, rather it has number's and it was just confusing!! But the light worked! Holds securely on the rail attachment (ARR-125) on the carrying handle. This will do for those on a budget!! Durability is the only question I have and only time will tell with that one! Semper Fi
