Double muzzle brake for Ruger 10/22 rifles. Easy to install and reduces muzzle rise and recoil from both slots and holes. Slips on around your original front sight post and tightens in place. Requires no gunsmithing and retains your original front sight post. Blue steel and not made by Ruger. Will not fit heavy barrels, target barrels, or International stocked versions. .065 inside diameter. This is a muzzle brake, NOT a flash hider. New in package.

It's tough when you find your muzzle brake in the dirt because the set screw backed up durrng use. It's even worse when the same set screw go worn out from having to be tighten only a few times. It's just rediculous when that same set screw is now stick in the muzzle break and you can't back it out even to reinstall or replace it. So pretty much I have a useless piece of roughly machined metal laying around unless it's JB welded on. It was good while it lasted, couldn't comment on accuracy improvement, just got it for looks.

I ordered this for asthetic reasons only. I saw a pic on the net and really liked the look. Figured it would complete the tactical look of my Ruger 10/22. As for the shipping, thats a different story, why would i pay nearly the price of my purchase on shipping (muzzle brake and some new rings) A week later still hasnt arrived and I only live 2 hours from the warehouse and the tracking info is jumk. Really come on now. Where is where is my stuff?

I bought this muzzle break a year ago. First of all, the set screw is crap. It just doesn't stay tight. Second you don't even need a muzzle break on a .22., but it does look good on the 10/22. I do not recommend this product

It took two minutes. It looks great with all my Tapco stuff. Be careful not to over tighten the mounting screw. If you do, it will still work, but try not to.

Finally ordered this to go along with the Dragonov Stock. Got it basically for the looks. Had the same problem as most everyone else, with the set screw. Cost me 79 cents at the hardware store for a replacement. The hex head isn't milled deep enough into the screw so it strips very easily.
