On 29 August, I ordered the Hydration Pack and today 30 August, I recieved the Item on my door step. You came through again with flying colors; the US G.I Hydration Pack, ACU Digital is what I wanted. Keep up the GREAT Work CTD.

I love this pack (the first one I bought), but the replacement I just purchased was not shipped with the normal O-ring to prevent leaking, thinking I could find a replacement anywhere, or here, I did not worry about it. I was wrong. Now it is just a bummer because it is too late to send it back.

I made the mistake earlier this summer of hiking out in the desert and underestimated the amount of water I needed to bring. Needless to say, a mistake I want to avoid repeating. This is the perfect size for a day hike allowing me to carry enough water, but not so much that the weight of the pack is uncomfortable to carry. The straps are comfortable and adjust to fit any size person and feature good quality fasteners. The MOLLE on the back is a very nice bonus, but they are in a position that would make it hard to reach while wearing the pack. I am extremely pleased with the quality and features of this pack and am considering picking up another one to have a backup.

What a great product! I am a backpacker and have gone from the canteen days in the 70's to the top-of-pack bladder today. But since my backpack bladders in a fanny pack wasn't optimal I wanted something to just use for day-hikes or bicycling. This fits the bill in more than one way. First of all it holds three liters and is well made. Second of all the hose and end effectors are first rate. Not only does the bite valve have a tethered cover, but there is a valve upstream. From long experience with other (non-military) bite valves, they can and do leak over time.
