Fully adjustable vest carries your armored plates for maximum protection, and enables rapid removal with the quick release shoulder straps with front and back padded pouches secure your ceramic or other protective body armor plates. This vest provides full MOLLE webbing compatibility on the front and back of the vest.

Configure your vest with pouches, pockets or holsters, (sold separately), and your body armor plates are secured for maximum protection.

Vest adjusts for height and girth, one size fits most. Rugged design will withstand the harshest environments or operations. The vest does not include armored plates, but will hold plates that measure 10x13x1".

The Quick Release Plate Carrier is compatible with detachable collar protection and detachable groin protection.

This vest will hold up to size large BALCS cut soft body armor and up to 10"x 13" hard or soft armor plates.

The QRPC has loop material for ID and morale patch attachment front and rear

The vest features 7 columns of PALS webbing at the top of the vest tapering to 11 columns at the bottom. The front of the vest has 7 rows of webbing and the rear 8.

The quick release function of the carrier allows almost instant doffing of the vest for medical access or in the event of a hang up or entrapment. The release pull adjusts to the left or right shoulder for user preference or uniformity.

The lightly padded vests mesh interior allows for airflow to increase comfort level.

The QRPC adjusts to accommodate Medium to XL sizes.

Would give this 5 bullets if they had sizing options. It will fit perfectly for most "big guns" but not fat boys. I'm a fat boy at 6'2" 330 lbs with a 56" or so chest and it's a little small, so beware if your chest is better than around 50". Fit is still fare but I had to use older panels from when I wasn't quite as large. This leaves my sides with a gap in protection. Still trying to figure out how to adjust the shoulder so it doesn't ride as high when I'm sitting in my patrol car. But construction is superb. Just wish there was a bigger one.

All in all, it's a solid rig. However, if you are in law enforcement, it may not be the right choice. The vest is a little on the heavy side and quite bulky. When I sit in my ride, there is not much room around the neck to look down because it is basically riding up close to your throat, and thus it is not very comfortable in the sitting position.

An awesome buy! Great construction, looks badass, and everything can be attached where you need it! Pull strap on the back side below the collar was a nice addition. I put a SERPA holster and blackhawk platform on the velcro section for my Glock 22, which is right where I want it, but renders the velcro pretty much useless. I'm 5'9", 175 with a 32" waist. I would consider myself a medium user. I had to tighten this thing ALL THE WAY down. The quick release system is excellent to have, but makes the adjustments in the back a lot harder to make. Overall I would say this is an excellent product and recommend it to anyone wanting to build a chest rig. Main reason for 4/5 Bullets is the adjustment for smaller dudes like myself. Fast shipping from CTD, as usual!

Purchased this ballistic/plate carrier in January 2011, after reading the other reviews. For the price and quality, I don't think this item can be beat! My agency issues ballistic vests with the undercover carrier (currenty brand is GH Armor). Due to our assignment, the undercover carrier is useless. I spent a lot of time researching outer carriers that would give me a place to put extra pistol mags, flashlight, cuffs, med kit, and a radio. Most of what I found was either too expensive, or the carrier was garbage. This carrier is very similar to a carrier sold by BlackHawk. The fit/feel/adjustability is excellent!My GH soft armor panels fit into this vest without an issue, and if I wanted, I could slide in 10x12 hard armor.For comparison purposes, I am 5'11", 175lbs. I was able to adjust the vest to ride above my belt and fit snugly to my body. I also purchased the "kangaroo" pouch (My only complaint is how the front flap secures over the cummerbund. I would prefer if it secured with velcro directly to the cummerbund, instead of the 3 little flaps tucking underneath.side by side M4 mags, with pistol mags in front)

Great vest! Fits comfortably on any size chest. I'm a smaller guy only 5'7 but the vest fits snug around me. A little pricey but worth it.

I bought this vest the other day and was really impressed with the quality. It is very easy to adjust to fit. The only gripe I have is that some of the molle loops are too small and I had to mount my mag holders off one column from where I wanted it to be. Also there are some that still work but are so tight that I had to use needle nose pliers to get the molle straps through. Over all it is great quality for the price.

Condor/Voodoo tactical vest. Very well made. Good material. I'm 6'1 with a 32" waist and I wear this vest as tight as it will go. It is perfect for the Blackhawk strike platform on chest.

Received my plate carrier today and after thorough inspection I am more than pleased! It is built better than my military issued vests worn in OIF and OEF. Granted it has not been tested to the same levels as of yet but I have no doubt it will surpass. All ballistic panels and strike plates fit with a little persuasion. Molle attachments were easier to put on without the panels in the vest. All around another great buy on CTD.

This is a great vest to have for any American. It protects you where it counts: the vitals. But, only if you have the plates. Be advised, CTD does not sell ballistic ceramic plates, but you can get them online through ebay. I just saw this same exact plate carrier on ebay for much more. Always go to CTD first, so you dont get screwed. Thanks, CTD!

I just got this in today. I read all reviews before purchase. I was wanting a MOLLE vest that would hold soft body armor with side protection to wear on some less dangerous raids we go on. The description really didn't cover that but this vest has it. I am 6'0, 205 lbs and both panels fit great. The vest was also a great fit, although I haven't got it fully adjusted yet. (They didn't send instructions with vest). It is high quality material. You can't beat the price. It's worth double or triple! There is plenty of room for any kind of gear, pouch or accessory you want to add on the front or back. I am really amazed at this vest for the price. I couldn't ask for anything better of a vest that is size specific. Cons: I could see where a shorter or slim built guy might not get a good fit. Probabaly would help if some instructions were sent showing how to get everything adjusted just right. I am ordering the same vest in black today! Exellent product.

This plate carrier is great. It is built well and the color is quite attractive. My Safariland Zero G armor slipped right in. The molle is built pretty good. The shoulder straps are well padded and you do not feel the weight of the load you are carrying. Thanks CTD

The plate/armor carrier is made very well. The stitching is solid. It has a large range of adjustment, but I am only 5'7" tall and wish I could shorten it up just a bit more. I like the quick release feature. This carrier provides a very professional appearance.

Wow... that is about all you can say about this piece of equipment. For the money, I was expecting to send it back. However, the quality and functionality of this vest carrier is unbelievable. If you order one of these from other companies you will pay a lot (E Industries or BH), and will not get the quality.

I have a few plate carriers and I was very surprised at the quality of this one. I love the way it is easily donned and how secure it is with armor. The armor choice is great as you can use hard, soft and concealable body armor panels. The people saying the armor rides too low are not putting it in correctly as there is a pocket for plates. The molle on the vest they sent me is great and does not seem out of spec whats so ever, and there is plenty of room for pouches. The bad- I think the only thing that can be improved would be that they make this with side plate armor pockets (which I ordered from a different company when I ordered this vest). Other that that, I think its a great deal for law enforcement and others with a need for a plate carrier.

Quick disconnect strap is easy to use and can be customized to rest on the left or right shoulder.(it's attached to the ring you see in the picture) Strong sowing and material makes this vest feel heavy duty even without the plates. Vest comes with removable padding on the inside that can be removed in hotter climates or to reduce weight. The vest weighs about 10LBS without plates. Make sure you get STANDALONE Rifle plates because it won't protect you very well without! Plenty of Molle real estate on the front back and sides to cram whatever your heart desires. The weight of this vest severly hinders mobility but the protection that it offers(with plates) is amazing. Anyone who's serious about protection should own one.

This vest is OK. It sits well and distributes weight extremely well. One problem, though. If you're using standard 10x12 plates the front plate rides about 3 1/2 inches too low and the back plate rides about two inches low. Maybe it's just me, but the vest cannot be adjusted enough to compensate for this.

I’m a South TX BPA. I ordered three different vests from CTD to see which one I was going to keep. I ordered the vests for my soft armor and I have to say that I’m very impressed with all three. The vests feel’s like they were built to last. I have seen other vest that cost three times as much, this one feels stronger and of better quality. My soft X-Large armor fit well in all three with out any adjustments to the vests. I’m 5’10” and have a 38” waist I had no problems adjusting and putting on the vest. It’s a bit of Hassel to adjusted but ounce it’s adjusted I just put it on like a t-shirt and it felt great very comfortable. I had quals a few days ago and it was great. I also order the molle mag holders from CTD for my H&K and M-4 I had no problems strapping those suckers on. Did I mention the great price.
