The Swiss SM-67 Gas Mask Includes a 40mm Sealed Filter and Rubberized Shoulder Carry Bag. Produced for their own civilians, the SM-67 mask was made with the same strict quality controls that the Swiss are known for.

Each glass lens offers a generous 2" view and is easily replaced by simply unscrewing the aluminum bezel. The fully adjustable elastic straps offer superior comfort to rubber straps and are replaceable since they are not molded into the mask.

The SM-67 was issued with a standard NATO 40mm filter manufactured by LUWA of Switzerland and each filter is factory sealed.

Included is a new/unissued rubberized nylon shoulder carry bag with strap. Each bag measures approximately 10" long, by 5" wide, by 9" tall and has 2 snap closures.

I had read reviews somewhere for such mask and was anticipating the hassle they were describing with getting the filters out of their tough plastic egg shaped sealed casings. They were having to use Dremel cutting tool or box cutters, etc. to extract filter but I see no such problems: simply remove top and bottom caps from the filter module and screw into bottom fitting of mask - same for the extra filters ordered separately. Do NOT need an adaptor as with some older masks with 60 mm filter fitting needing adaptor to take new standard 40 mm size. I guess I'm a "prepper" now who is ready for volcanic ashes or some other Yellowstone type event.
