Original German ESBIT personal stove, Made in Germany for their Military troops in the field, we have found a small supply of original folding personal stoves complete with a fuel tablet. Great for heating an aluminum canteen or canteen cup, folds compactly to fit in your pocket or pack. Grade II condition.

Place the included Esbit hexamine tabs or some other fuel source such as the Trioxanne (MGR-826) or WetFire Tinder (CAMP-221) in the stove and heat a bottle, cup, or small pot filled with warm liquids, MRE's, or soup.

All Military surplus products are used, the condition of the products varies, and the quantities may be limited.
Surplus condition scale:
Grade I – Used in like new to excellent condition.
Grade II – Used in good condition, may show minor use.
Grade III – Used in fair condition, will show normal wear and tear from daily use.

Got to try out this little stove during the recent Pacific northwest snow storm...Power was out for 30+ hours so I thought this would be a perfect time to try it out. Tablets are easy to light with a simple lighter or matches and gets a good flame going. Burn time is about 7 minutes. Cooked some beans & franks for breakfast one morning, took maybe 5 mins. If boiling water or making ramen noodles, find a way to elevate the fuel tablet closer to your pot or you'll being using 2 or 3 of them. Packaging was all in German so don't bother with instructions but it's pretty straight forward. Small enough to store in a ziploc bag in the front pouch on my survial bag. WELL worth the money.

Perfect to fit in pocket or bag , I bought a similar one at the army navy and it was twice as much and half as durable , can't beat the price or pack ability.

Two is one and one is none. At this price get a few and get some of the extra hexamine fuel tablets.

The Esbit stove is a super light and compact stove. It comes with a box of solid fuel, there are a total of 6 3/4"x 1" blocks that come in 2 strips, one quarter cube is enought to boil one cup of water as long as there isnt alot of wind. The stove is adjustable to fit different cups. Its also nice to use as a tinder platform if the ground is wet. My only complaint would be the fact that if you choose to use wood for fuel you must really break the sticks down, and constantly feed the fire, its hardly a big deal but it is something I noticed as an inconvienience. Great stove for a great price, I have a modgear deployment bag that I use for a mini bug out survival bag it holds alot of gear and the Esbit is part of that kit, the quality is high enough to depend on and its cheap enough to buy a few

The stove itself is pretty nifty. Folds up and looks like one of those old Hi-8 video tapes they had before the newer ones. Should note the hexamine fuel tablets shown with the stove did not come with my order.Obvious old surplus. However, it's sealed, so it should ideally work. The directions for the tab use are on the foil, and it seems that it would work just as well. Good investment!
