Designed for tactical use by commandos, This East German AKM-47 bayonet fits any standard AK-47 barrel. The protective coated steel Scabbard hooks onto the Bowie style blade to form a handy wire cutter. Handle and Scabbard are made from a rugged non-electricity-conducting synthetic. The knife features a heavy duty 5 3/4 inch carbon steel blade with serrated spine. Includes scabbard with belt loop. Overall length is 10 3/4 inch long. Used Grade II Condition.

All Military surplus products are used, the condition of the products varies, and the quantities may be limited.
Surplus condition scale:
Grade I – Used in like new to excellent condition.
Grade II – Used in good condition, may show minor use.
Grade III – Used in fair condition, will show normal wear and tear from daily use.

Thanks for the tip, Zoetic. Mine now fits the Saiga 21 /AK103 after filing the plastic as you stated. I have upgraded my rating from one bullet to three since it can work with modification. Still, mine was not Grade II as advertised (I realize this is subjective) and although I was not expecting much given the low price, I don't think CTD should advertise this as Grade II. But, overall, it’s a good conversation piece and worth the price.

Mine was Grade III – Used in fair condition, will show normal wear and tear from daily use. Blade had nick on edge. The sheath and handle were dirty and needed scrubbing with a brush. The leather belt loop and retaining strap were dry and cracked half way through and will certainly fail with normal use. RDM below said it did not fit his Saiga. I have an Arsenal/Saiga SGL21 and it did not fit because it got caught up on the cleaning rod slot. A few minutes of filing down the plastic handle around the retaining lock fixed the problem. It wobbles a little, but is secure.

Excellent condition, just use some 711 or WD40 to remove the dried up gunk and the S.O.B will look brand new! The only thing necessary was a little bit of sharpening. Placed onto a Yugo M70 and fit perfectly and rock solid onto the lug, just some of the rubber surround on the opening of the scabbard had to be snipped off to clear the muzzle break (I think you have to have the original AK47 style muzzle break, it may not fit ak74 style breaks just FYI). This makes the rifle look fully demonic.

I ordered this bayonet under the impression that it was going to be grade 2 condition. However, when it arrived it looked better than most places grade 1 condition. Very nice, very good buy.

Well when I got it it had orange dust so I thought it was rusted to h***, took clp now it looks unissued waaaayyy better than the picture. Sharp ehh ok but hey there ment for stabbing. Decent edge, happy as ever. CTD thanks again, best store for supplies.
