Designed for tactical use by commandos, This East German AKM-47 bayonet fits any standard AK-47 barrel. The protective coated steel Scabbard hooks onto the Bowie style blade to form a handy wire cutter. Handle and Scabbard are made from a rugged non-electricity-conducting synthetic. The knife features a heavy duty 5 3/4 inch carbon steel blade with serrated spine. Includes scabbard with belt loop. Overall length is 10 3/4 inch long. Used Grade II Condition.

All Military surplus products are used, the condition of the products varies, and the quantities may be limited.
Surplus condition scale:
Grade I – Used in like new to excellent condition.
Grade II – Used in good condition, may show minor use.
Grade III – Used in fair condition, will show normal wear and tear from daily use.

As always, CTD is awesome. The item was shipped very fast and the item I received was as described! This bayonet arrived with no rust, all the saw teeth are fine and the blade is shiny. The scabbard, frog, and lug lock are all great. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is the fact the tip of the blade is a little dull, not broken just a lil dull. These were obviously issued and carried. The handle has wear and some scratches but to me this just adds character! Just buy it already LOL.

The Germans really did a good job on this one. I bought it so I could have something a little smaller than my Ka Bar to carry when hog hunting, the edge is a little blunt though. Mine came in very quiclky and has minimal cracking in the leather and hardly any rust to speak of, none of the teeth on the saw are broken and the wire cutter works great, I really like the big handle on it. I would get another one. thanks Cheaperthandirt!

I got this for my pack as a cheap knife to have on hand that just happened to also fit one of my guns and double as a wire cutter. I got this bayonet and it is like new and had what resembled cosmoline on the blade but came right off with some spray lube. Oh yeah and there is nothing sharp about this bayonet but I don't think they're supposed to be.
