Recently used to stabilize the wrist and lower arm of a young lady who fell during soccer. Works perfectly as temporary splint. Just make sure you get it back from ER personnel.

Personally, I think these are the most versatile splints on the market. One problem though, a SAM splint comes with a roll of black stretch tape that only sticks to itself to apply the splint. Not included with these splints. Without this, you have to have an ace wrap or gauze, unless you want to shred your shirt. Other than that pleased with the service as always.

While off duty I stopped at a bicyclist vs. Auto, hit and run, pt. complained of pain in his Left ankle. This splint conformed around his ankle, and secured with coban do the trick brilliantly. This item is amazing for a portable splint.

A must have for any field medic. Like the other review says it is cheaper than the other and just as good in quality. Remember a loose splint is better than a tight one!

As an EMT who lives in a rural area, I can't stress the importance of these splints. They are cheaper than SAM Splints, but are the exact same thing. No one should be without these in their kits! A must have... especially for campers, hikers, and anyone who may get hurt far from EMS coverage.
