The G3 was adopted in 1958 as the standard infantry weapon of the German Bundeswehr replacing the Bundeswehr's G1 and remaining in service until 1997. The G3 was chambered in 7.62 x 51 mm. G3 stands for "Gewehr 3", German for "Rifle, 3". These rifles have been taken apart and the parts are now being sold in the surplus market. This is a complete OD Green stock set that includes the buttstock, forearm, grip, and some hardware in Grade II condition.
Hardware typically includes the buttpad, backplate and recoil rod assembly with buffer assembly . Hardware typically does not include push pins, grip screw or grip washer.
This furniture will fit most HK 91, PTR-91, and CETME rifles, though some fitting and modification may be necessary.
All Military surplus products are used, the condition of the products varies, and the quantities may be limited.
Surplus condition scale:
Grade I - Used in like new to excellent condition.
Grade II - Used in good condition, may show minor use.
Grade III - Used in fair condition, will show normal wear and tear from daily use.
