Replace the upper handguard on your M14 or M1A with this Tri-Rail Picatinny rail system. Rail locks solidly in position with six mounting screws and includes a 31-slot top rail, two removable 13-slot side rails, and 12 comfort grip rail guards. 18 vents cut into the aluminum rail allow for better cooling.

Precision machined to MIL-STD-1913 mil. spec. tolerances for enhances accuracy. Requires no gunsmithing to install. Will not fit National Match M1A rifles because the barrel diameter is too large.

Total weight, 19.2 ounces. Top rail measures 13", and each side rail extends 6". Imported.

Nice quality overall, but like most others, when tightened down, it's crooked. I believe I can modify it to be straight, but we'll see. Looking down the iron sights when installed, if the iron sight were at 12 on the clock, this rail would be pointing to about 11:45, if that makes sense.

Just got it in and sent it for a replacement. The thumb screw was off by a lot and it made the rail crooked. Hopefully the new one is better.

Contrary to what is stated on the box, the rail I recieved was machined entirely out of tolerance. The rail is canted to the left at least 20 degrees and the thumbscrew for the reciever still needs a 1/4" to make the hole line up, this was waaaaay off. Seems by the other reviews this is rare, then again maybe not.

This product goes on smoothly and looks sharp. But beware, it is not compatible with the original scope mount for the M14. With this product you will have to mount your scope on the tac rails which is much further down the rifle (Scout). You will need a long relief scope to make it work.

Good solid mount. Very sturdy. Needs a long relief scope or an additional cantilevered rail. The bad news. It interferes with the iron sights when all the top pads are removed, and they cannot be used at all with the top pads on. If the design was a little taller, the sights could be used through a window in the rail at all times. I like it enough to keep it and not return it, but am disappointed that it blocks the iron sights and this wasn't mentioned in the product description, so I won't leave it on all the time. Thankfully it is easy to install and remove.
