M1 Carbine magazine pouch constructed of cotton with snap closures on front and a male snap on the inside sleeve that slides over the buttstock. Marked "US", this is the correct style and pattern to accompany your weapon, current production, imported. Pouch holds two 10 round stripper clips when attached to the gun, or two 10 round magazines when attached to a belt. The original design of this pouch was to wear on a belt, pack, or vest this is the reason it has a snap on the inside of the sleeve.

I bought 2 of these for my son, he put them on his bb guns. Cardboard in-between them and the stock makes them fit perfectly on his Daisy.

Works for me. Fits 2 15rnd mags on the stock. Tight fit but it'll stretch. Had to remove stock to get it on but thats not a big deal at all. Only biff is there is a snap that will make hard contact with the stock. I just put a little duct tape on it so it wont chafe. Other than that works and looks great!!!! Great buy!

I just ordered 2 more. I've got 11 carbines and have been trying to get 3 original G.I. mags for each one. One in the mag well and two in a stock pouch. Getting these on the stock, at least the ones I have so far, isn't all that hard. They seem to come a good bit smaller than the G.I. issued. The way to make them fit is simple. Remove the hand guard, pull the action out of the stock, slide the pouch over and down the stock to the pistol grip area. Now FORCE the mags into the pouch and snap the cover closed. It will be tight, but it will snap shut. Pull the pouch and mags down toward the butt. Leave it be for several weeks. It will stretch to fit both the stock and mags. Like I said, they are not G.I. but try to find an original for the same price.

For the price, I think it's a 5-star item. Fits really well on my stock and seems like decent quality. I use this on a Marlin 795 that I fit into a M1 Carbine stock, it holds 4 magazines tightly. I drilled a shallow hole in the stock and the snap on the back side of the pouch fits into the hole. This keeps the pouch from sliding around.
