NOT a pretty picture. CHEAP but NOT worth the money CTD charges for this "Made in Spain" device. Rusty and NOT anywhere near the original muzzle brakes.

I must have gotten the last one because it looks like it's been sitting in water since WWII. It has no oil on it. I will have to sand and paint it before it goes on my gun. This is the first, and hopefully last, time Cheaper Than Dirt has ever sent me something crappy. The only reason I give it two bullets is because it looks cool.

This comp comes new in oil, and looks good on the rifle. The downside is the soft metal top strap. When I was on my 4th mag at the range, the comp flew off the gun. Turns out the muzzle blast pushes on the comp causing the soft strap to bend and loosen until the comp falls off. It can be bent back and the comp reattached, but it will fly off again.

They say its good condition! No! I received mine in what appears to be brand new condition. it was oiled and sealed in a package. I installed it on my Iver Johnson M1 carbine and it looks so cool and it does what it is made for. Great piece of machinery at a relatively acceptable price.

MINE CAME LIKE BRAND NEW..STILL COATED IN OIL..I'M SURE I'M THE FIRST OWNER ..CAME SEALED IN A PLASTIC BAG COATED IN OIL..AND BOLTS RIGHT UP TO MY CARBINE...CAN HARDLY WAIT TO TAKE IT OUT FOR A "TEST DRIVE"

How about "brand new and still coated in oil"? That's how mine got to me. It looked like it had never been issued and was just pulled out of military storage. What a great little piece of hardware. $40, eh, not a bad price for what you get really. It attaches easily and quickly to my M1A1 and gives a mean look too. Can't wait to test it out at the range!

An excellent bit of kit. Mine looked brand new with no blemishes or rust, it still had grease in the threads. It attached extreamely secure on the end of my M2.
