USGI M1 carbine type III sling and oiler. The oiler is designed to hold the end of the carbine sling in the buttstock while the other end attaches to the barrel band. This replica is nearly identical to the original government issue sling and oiler. Sling overall length is adjustable between 22" and 37.5", 1" width. Oiler specs : overall length 2.30 " , 0.44" diameter.

Item reads "M1 carbine sling & oiler original correct WW11 & Korean War style". The canvas of the sling is too new to be original. The oiler is used. Your description is misleading. They do not complement my original carbines

The kit is excellent. It was a snap to install and looks great on my Auto Ordinance reproduction M1 (AO-130). The oiler comes with an o-ring installed so no worries about leaks. This is a super item as my carbine did not come with a sling at all. The sling tightens snugly around the oiler and you pull the whole thing through from the other side to lock it down, then push the snap into place and voila you're good to go.

Fits great trick is when putting the oiler in is to push the material up from the stock(bottom) and down from the opening(top) then slide the oiler in at an angle. It will slide right in as the loop fills the whole space up creating a wide enough opening.
