Ordered four of these. None were in "original" or "new" packaging. One is marked P 38 9mm and the rest P 1 9mm. All have the Walther banner. The P 38 marked mag is dated 4/59. The P 1 marked mags are dated 5/64, 3/67 and one unmarked. Part number is stamped on all except the unmarked P 1 mag. The mags are in very good USED condition, although one is significantly more "used" than the others. The ones I received just look like they've been in a box in the garage for 20 years. Springs and followers seem just fine. All fit in my AC 41 perfectly. After a little cleaning, I expect satisfactory performance. Overall, I don't see how you can go wrong for the price.

I recently took a chance and ordered two mags. I was, on the whole, very pleased with them. Both are marked with the Walther logo: one is a P1 mag while the other is a postwar "P38" item with a relatively early (January 1959) date code. Both mags fit a bit tight in the wells of my war-production P38's (an "ac42" and an "ac44"). However, I suspect this issue can be quickly fixed with some cleaning and lubrication. Bottom line: these mags are excellent values for the money and I plan to purchase more!

I bought a bag full of these and they are just as advertised... a couple smooth, the rest sort of parkerized... just like new, every one functions perfectly and for 1/4 the cost of new ones. You can't go wrong.

I received four magazines. Two were like new, but with very light rust. The others were well used but seem to function 100%. Two were marked "P38", the others were marked "P1". All have Walther banners. As advertised. The floorplates were not bent up either, which is rare with these mags.
