Black polymer, detachable magazine holds 20 rounds of 7.62x39 ammo and fits all SKS variants that we have seen. Designed to securely fit composite stocks, this magazine will work in wood stock variations with slight modification to the magazine opening. In order for the magazine to fit properly in the wooden stock version, the opening must be enlarged slightly for a proper fit. Easy to install.

So far very pleased with the SKS Tapco mag! Recently bought an SKS that came with a ProMag 20 round magazine. The ProMag does not work with 20 rounds loaded. Read the reviews for the Tapco and purchased two magazines. Received the mags in 3 days, so I'm pleased with shipping. Magazines needed a little filing to fit but now feed all rounds. Have not shot the rifle yet, but so far I am pleased.

Finally found a good mag. Had to file both the mag and the stock to make it work in my wood stock Yugo. Had to file out the hollow part of the stock a good bit and then the feed lips. A little rough when feeding. It seems to be a bit lower than the stock integral, but it works and all 20 go in and come out.

I ordered this and some ammo on Monday and it showed up on Thursday. How cool is that? I read some reviews that said they had to do some filing. I have a Norinco SKS and it snapped right in. Loaded it up and I am going shooting tomorrow. Hope the ammo is just as good.

Ordered 3. Quick ship. Good looking mag. As usual I had to hand fit them to go in my Russian SKS. Have not been to the range, however, I loaded them and let them sit for 2 weeks to get the spring to "set". Function tested mags and every round chambered, extracted, and ejected as advertized. What most guys complaining about these mags do not understand is that the springs need to be put under tension for awhile so they will "set". If you doubt my word, check the Wolf Gun Springs site as they have written on this subject.
