Black polymer, detachable magazine holds 20 rounds of 7.62x39 ammo and fits all SKS variants that we have seen. Designed to securely fit composite stocks, this magazine will work in wood stock variations with slight modification to the magazine opening. In order for the magazine to fit properly in the wooden stock version, the opening must be enlarged slightly for a proper fit. Easy to install.

I bought 3 of these recently. First off, arrived way earlier than intended. Huge bonus. Second, they are sturdy, easy to load and as for the fit and function... Like buttah. Seriously, after trying so many different discount versions and hating every single one. These are SUPERB magazines for my sks. Will definitely be picking up a few more for the road.

I've owned an SKS for over 20 years and have tried multiple magazines. These Tapco 20 rounders are by far the most reliable I've found. Avoid the metal 30 rounders, they don't stand the test of time well at all.

I've tried numerous high capacity aftermarket magazines in my Yogoslavian SKS. I have a Monte Carlo synthetic stock. This mag fit perfectly. It chambered well and each round cycled flawlessly. I ordered one after reading the reviews. After I took out the stock magazine and installed this mag, I immediately ordered four more mags. It works the way a detachable magazine should work. Great job. Well made magazine.
