The first five I ordered all cycled fine but two had to have some alterations done on the hole that locks them in. Of these eight they all fit better, cycle and no need to alter any of them.
Not the best but will work

I bought over 20 of these magazines and they looked pretty good. On the range, however, the "quality" came through. The mags would feed 19 rounds and then lock open with the 20th round lying on the follower. The problem is that the steel is either substandard or too thin and deforms when used. I bent the right lip back into place and shot some more. Not bad for practice, but I won't bet my life on them.
Not worth the risk

I bought four of these and four of the "W" marked GI spec mags. All four of the "W" (Westinghouse) mags worked and fit flawlessly. Unfortunately, all four of the imported mags are oversized for my M1A NM mag well; all four had to be slapped pretty hard to latch in AND tugged briskly to get them out. After reading on the web about the poor performance of these mags, I'm hoping CTD will take them back and trade me for two of the Westinghouse mags. I shoot NRA service rifle matches and needed spare mags. Luckily the W marked looked so good. They slip in and out as my other Springfield mags do. They are well worth the extra few bucks. Get the "W" mags instead.

This mag is unsatisfactory. I bought it because the price was cheap. You get what you pay for. It is too big and fits really tight, so loading into my SOCOM takes twice as long and when I went to first round fire, and it didn't feed the 3rd round. Didn't feed, even though the bolt went home. Went to charge it and a good round ejected from the mag and not the chamber. I had multiple good rounds eject when I went to chamber a round. For a Marine, these are unsatisfactory and would get someone killed in a bad situation
Price vs Fit = No Contest

Like the others, I bought five of these mags for my M1A SOCOM II. Shipping was quick and after opening the first of the sealed packages these showed up in, the quality looked pretty good. I tried to seat the first mag into the well, and ran into my first issue. While the hole in the front fit perfect, the rear tab was a bit too tall and would not seat into the mag release catch properly. After a little file work, it fit like a glove and was easy to both insert and release. The second issue I had was at the range. I topped off the first mag and started shooting. After three rounds, I had a failure to chamber. After manually releasing the bolt I fired off the next 12 or so rounds with no issues. As I got to the last five rounds, the mag would throw out a new round with the fired one while chambering another. It was odd, but I am chalking it up to new follower springs that need to be broken in a bit. Overall, the product was well worth the price and the tweaking will not stop me from buying more of these.
Not one worked out of the box

Bought 5 of these. Cost the same as 1 SA magazine. Every one of them is the wrong shape. They're a little fat and a little tall. the fat isn't an issue. Tall is. The feed lips contact the bolt and drag. The last bullet pops out every time, locking the bolt back with a loose round in the breach. FIXed all of them easily by simply using the flat of a screwdriver (could do better on a bench but I was in the field) and pushed the feed lips over a millimeter or two. Now they load almost like the factory. Previously if I tried to insert the magazine with the bolt in the battery, it took a good knock to get it to seat, since it was pushing against the bottom of the bolt. So, cheap crap. But repairable. Well worth the price for me. I went through the magazines loading 3 rounds at a time all afternoon to make sure they wouldn't continue popping out or have any other problems. After the massage, they worked flawlessly.

I ordered and received 5 of these mags. Of the five, three were excellent; one the hole to lock it in place was stamped slightly smaller than the others. It fit in and locked in my M1. However, I needed to slightly alter my Maglula speed loader for it. The fifth mag the hole was stamped off center. It also loaded just barely into my M1. All that was needed was to widen that hole for both my speed loader and fitting into the M1. Other than that they all fit snuggly. With a little use they should loosen up, as I've used new Springfield mags that fit snugly initially as well. I will be buying more of these. The minor quality control problems do not compare to the cost savings.

I bought only 2 at first, after reading some of these other reviews, saying that it was a tight fit or worse, or they had to file it down to fit. Well, into my Springfield Armory M-14 went the first two, fit like a glove with no problems at all. I don't know why the other people had problems. These fit perfectly so, not worrying, I bought 3 more today. I think these are a great buy . They're even parkerized like the rifle itself, so they match in color.
Buy the other mags... :---)

Initially purchased 6, loaded them all to max capacity. Only one was a bit tight & didn't cycle properly at the shooting range, I found that dremmeling corrected the issue. I've purchased 9 more and will more than likely purchase more. You can not beat these for the money. Parkerized finish, Korean made, came in sealed package, brand new. Reason I didn't mark as 4 is the value out weights the corrective issue on one mag.

As promised my fellow M14 shooter tried this magazine in his weapon. Didn't work. However, he also identified the problem. The lug locking hole at the front of the magazine is cut approximate 1/32 to 1/16 of an inch too low (.045 specifically on the MAG-3572). Filing the top of the hole down about 1/32 will allow the magazine to seat. Still tight but works in his. CTD hasn't publish my similar review of the MAG-3573, 10-round magazine, but the issue is same, same except the hole is .06" too low.

Tried one. Really tight fit in my M14. Won't seat all the way to chamber rounds. Have to agree with Jeff on this one. Save your money. It is inoperable. I gave it to another M14 owner to try. I'll update with his results.

Bought two of these mags for my SA "loaded" M1A on a whim. Even though the ratings were low to average these worked better than I expected. They functioned almost perfectly, no failures to feed, no failures to extract. I only give 4 bullets because on the last mag when the 19th shot ejected, the 20th unfired round popped out of the top of the mag with it. That one hiccup aside, if you're looking for some good cheap mags, these are a good one to start with.

Made in Korea. New in sealed package. Cleaned, loaded with 20 rounds and tested. Tight fit but functioned fine in my Springfield M1A. Not SA but a good, cheap copy.

I thought that the magazine would be great quality if it had an NSN. I was wrong. Magazine was too wide to insert into well of my M1A scout. After inspection, the lips were too wide. I tried to manipulate the lips to get the magazine to function, and was able to get it into the well. However, after 40 rounds, the left lip is so badly bent out of shape that it will not hold a round on the left side. The steel used is very poor quality. I will not buy another knock off magazine for a $1500 gun.

CTD got it here quickly. It works now, but I don't know for how long. Upper part of magazine swells badly when loaded, and have to hold it closed to get into my M1A. Feeds well, no problems functionally.

I purchased two of these mags to use with my Springfield M1A. The magazines functioned very well except that typically after firing the 19th round the 20th unfired round would eject along with the spent 19th round. Considering the cost differential between Springfield factory mags and these this was not a big sacrifice. The only other noticeable difference is that the welds along the magazine seam are very tiny spot welds contrasted with the extra large welds on the Springfield mags. So far they have held up well and I would certainly be OK with purchasing more or recommending them to other buyers.
