I bought a couple of these to try because of the price and I am sorry now. The shells won't stay in the top, gives after you load 26-28 and then pop they start coming out all by themselves. Can't keep them in long enough to load the damn clip. I will only buy Ruger mags, they seem to be the only ones that work and you have to have a mag work if you REALLY need it, your life could depend on it. I want my money back.

These Tapco mags are great for target shooting, feed perfect, easy to field strip, and very light. I would not recommend these for the zombies though, as mentioned before the feed lips allow 1 or 2 to pop out of a loaded clip.. the forward pin hole does not hold up too well after many reloads. but all in all perfect for having fun.

I bought two of these mags to test them out. After reading reviews from others, I was a little apprehensive. When I got the mags I loaded them up with 30 rounds and let sit for about a week or so. I figured this would help break in the new spring, and ensure no rounds would be prematurely ejected. I shoot about two hundred rounds this weekend and did not have a single malfunction. The mags seed in the receiver snugger the my factory mini 14 mag. I plan on buying many more of these. The only reason why I gave 4 bullets instead of 5 is because only 1 mag can fit into a molle 2 mag pouch. The ribbed design doesn't allow for more than that.

Bought four of these after getting my TAPCO mini 14 stock set up. Thought they worked awesome for 12 bucks. Quickly found out that the mags will randomly eject rounds when fully loaded. I think it's the plastic tab at the top of the mag that's supposed to hold the rounds in. (led to jamming) It's weak and doesn't do its job. I now own 2 factory 20's that are FLAWLESS in performance. Don't be tight on the cash when your life could depend on it! (ZOMBIES PEOPLE!)
