I bought 3 of these for my Rock Island 1911A1. Two work flawlessly even with HP's. One had FTF once in every load, usually the 5th round. This issue continued for about 15 loadings, but now it has started working properly. I give it 4 stars because they are an excellent value for spare/range mags, however, due to the problems with the one, I will not be trusting my family's life to them. My Chip Mccormick mags are the mags I use for HD.

Magazines arrived in very good condition. I did have to fiddle with one of them since for some reason it wouldn't engage the slide lock when empty. Some fiddling with the feeder however fixed that problem. They are a little hard to get out at first but after using it for a little while they seem to work fine now.

I thought I would give a couple of these magazines a try. So far I have been pleasantly suppressed. I my Tarus PT1911 they work fine. They don't drop free as easily as the factory magazine's unless the mag release is held in, but other than that they are fine. I have not experienced any malfunctions and the slide stays open after the last round. I would buy more in the future.

Can't go wrong for the price. Feed very well into my 1911. Springs are strong and good quality. I purchased a spare Kimber mag two weeks ago and paid over $20 for one! I returned and will be ordering more of these!
