1.0 Rating Cheap Mags - 2/11/2012Mag 1911 Government .45 ACP 7 Round Blued Steel Fits all M1911s and Copies Flush Fit1.0000

Definitely inexpensive. Using these mags on 2 1911s: Kimber custom II RIA tactical The mags locked into place just fine on both, however they had issues with the lips holding onto the rounds and causing FTF while round was being engaged by the extractor. Also, the follower was not engaging the slide stop correctly and holding the slide open when the magazine was empty. After comparing this to my other mags, it appears the section of the follower that engages the slide stop is a hair too short and just barely clips the slide stop. Same issues on both pistols (one well broken in, other only has about 100 rounds in it).
4.0 Rating OK for range use - 1/23/2012Mag 1911 Government .45 ACP 7 Round Blued Steel Fits all M1911s and Copies Flush Fit4.0000

I bought several of these mags, knowing htey are not top quality. For the price, however, they seem to function well. The only problem I have is that the rounds don't feed reliably out of the magazine bag, so to speak. I had to use some needle-nose pliers to very slightly flare the ends of the mag lips to allow the ammo to feed better. I tried these at the range one day, fired about 300 rounds through them, and they do seem to function OK for range use now. I definitely wouldn't want to put my life on the line with these, but for the price, they're great for target practice work.
2.0 Rating Cheap - 9/27/2011Mag 1911 Government .45 ACP 7 Round Blued Steel Fits all M1911s and Copies Flush Fit2.0000

The price is right. But these are cheaply made compared to originals. My originals function better, lock up tighter. These hang on mag release, do not hold slide open, while originals function properly. But again, the price is low enough to tolerate some of this in my opinion.

Fit great in my Remington 1911a1. Have not used them yet, but I hear the problem is if they cycle through. Better to see if these work before you go and buy an expensive one that may run you $25 or more.
