At least two feeding problems per full mag. Tried same ammo in Kimber mag with no problems. I was shooting a Kimber Custom II.

I bought 4 of these for my SSColt Govt.mdl and comparing to the factory 7rndrs I see the little diffs. in followers(thinner steel), spring tension(a little "softer" than Colts, but I put about 30rds through each right away, just to see, with no FtFs. I give them a 4 because they do take just a wee "smack" on the base to seat(sorta like you'd see'em do in a movie, but don't seem to have any problems releaseing. As others below have said maybe they like Colts better, I don't know. At any rate, I think they are a great value(for Colt owners at least) and I am going to buy more. Yes if I had $$ to "burn" I would probably buy the much vaunted Chip McCormicks, but I don't, so these are definately it. Would I trust my life with these just to save 5$ or 10$ each, yes.

They aren't the best quality but are good for the price and just about the most reasonable 1911 mags you are going to find. This is my second order of these mags because I liked the first ones so much. I have had problems with one of the mags out of 5 I own. It doesn't the feed the round correctly into the chamber because the spring is not following as designed. But unless you buy a name brand company mags you are always going to find one problem in the knock offs. Still if I need more these are the ones I'll get.

Couldn't be happier with this purchase. I have a Colt Combat Commander and the clip fit perfectly and feeds perfectly. Now in case you are wondering THESE CLIPS ARE FOR COLTS. The clips have the rampant colt on them and are made to fit Colts perfectly. That's not to say that they will not fit other 1911's but they fit Colts perfectly. I will definitely be buying more of these.

These are well built magazines, but they do not work well in my Springfield GI 1911. They grind against the mag release causing the magazine to sometimes stick, making it difficult to drop an empty or even full mag. They are Colt magazines, so if you have a colt, they are probably great. Just not for mine.

Nice finish on the body, but the follower turns sideways sometimes, resulting in feeding issues and difficulty loading. You can find better mags elsewhere.

I just bought one for my Taurus PT 1911. I was having some feeding problems with my stock mags. These work well but the spring is weak.

Bought these for my Rock Island. The issue I had with these mags is that they dont drop out when I hit the mag release. I have to pull them out, which is quite annoying. They feed just fine but the not falling out when you hit the mag release is just unacceptable.

I bought one of these to try in my Detonics ServiceMaster II and was impressed with the way it was built. However it had the weakest mag spring I have ever seen for a factory mag! first time out I had situations where it would not push the rounds up to feed. I have since purchased a Wilson spring and added it to make it a decent magazine. But you would be better off buying a Kimber, Wilson or Metalform mag rather than deal with the hassle.

This clip simply works great! The only thing about it that I don't like is that it takes a little more effort to seat this clip all the way in my Llama 1911 due to it being a flush fit magazine. Other than that, it's perfect, especially for the money! It feeds hollow points as well as FMJs with absolutely no problems at all! I'm considering buying a few more.

I was a little scepticle about these mags at first, since the price was so low, but when I received them, I was pleasantly surprised. They look and feel identicle to McCormick mags that I already own. The floorplate on these is stamped Colt, and has the Colt running horse insignia. They funtion flawlessly in my Colt and Kimber (about 200 rounds with no jams or malfunctions). I suggest disassembling, cleaning, and lubricating them with a dry lubricant before putting them into service (as I do with all new mags). These seem to be great quality mags at a super price. I will definately be ordering more at this price.

I also bought these for my Taurus PT-1911. They look great and seem to work just fine. The fit is snug on a couple but other than that I don't see any problems.

Bought this a couple of weeks ago and just got it. Ran 50rds through it, no flaws. It is a Colt mag and has logo at bottom. Good price. Good Fit. The only issue I had with the fit, since it is a flush fit on my Taurus 1911, where it normally has 8+1 with a plastic bottom plate, the flush fit is flush, but you need a little more force to lock the mag into place. Not that big of a deal. Best 8rd for the price.
