I bought these to play with my GSG-5PK, which is already finicky about ammo selection. With these mags, anything past 15 rounds would produce failures to feed. Solution: I took the mags apart, sanded the travel rails that the follower rides on and lubed them well with silicon spray. No more issues since.

These mags function as they are designed to. As stated below, GSG'S are particular about the ammo you use so, for the first time GSG owner, dont use cheap ammo, I found Winchester and Federal ammo shoots very well out of this rifle. Of all my weapons, and I own quite a few, I enjoy shooting the GSG over them all. Just a fun gun and a great conversation piece.

These mags look nice, but I have found that if I load more than 18 rounds then the gun double feeds the first few times-- you can feel a rough spot about mid way thru the mag by pulling the follower down. To fix this I disassembled the mags and took 100grit sandpaper followed by 200 grit to polish the the followers track. Then I gave them a good coating of silicon spray-- I've had no more feed issues since. I have the pistol version(gsg-5pk) if it makes any difference or not I don't know

These magazines perform well out of the wrapper. Ammo choice is critical. I shot about 300 rounds through them. I did learn very clearly that your GSG (GSG-522) is selective in its ammo choices. I found the gun shoots Remingtons pretty well, and of all ammo, Federal bulk pack performed best. Winchester performed lest well. CCI performed well to but for close range laser aiming when precision accuracy was important I couldn't beat the Federal brand. Before you banish your mags, check your ammo.

I bought 3 of these mags and at the price. I figured on no problems but sadly this was not the case. I give the mags 3 stars because I feel that the problem can be fixed with some attention. I had numerous problems with feeding. I am not sure if it was due to a weak spring or that the follower was hanging up. It made for a long frustrating day of shooting.

Awesome Magz for a awesome rifle, although its only a .22lr, it has the look and feel of a MP5. I have shot 500 rounds with no jams or any problems with the magz or gun. It's an awosome plinker, very accurate and fun to shoot and it has a nice weight to it, it doesn't feel cheap made.
