I purchased two mags and ran 100 rounds through them. Not a single malfunction. I heard all kinds of horror stories about the caliber/magazine feed problems. Not here. I am buying two more.

OK..I was going to order this mag to try,but it was out of stock at the time.After seeing a comment form another guy here that said "only use Bushmaster mags"I thought well I'll try them first. Ordered Bushmaster mags for another company got 2 plus shipping was about $80..wow!..Anyway a few day later Cheeper Than Dirt emailed me to tell me theses were back in. So I orderd 2 of these.Took them all out today.These ASCs and the Bushmater mags are about 95% identical some of the lettering is the same, finish is the same..light dimples in the spine are the exact same...floorplate is also the same except for the names...huuumnnnn..interesting? Could ASC be making both mags???Loaded about the 26 round limit in the Bushmaster. It fired 4 rounds then a light strike. I pulled in another round and fire the next 20 rounds until empty..no problems.Then I tried these ASCs that cost half as much and guess what..fired about 4 rounds and had 1 light strike..pulled in a new round then it fired the rest of the maf until empty!!!.Bottom line is these work!!!As good as Bushmaster...for half the $$$The only difference I see is the ASC spring feels a tiny bit weaker, but both mags perform the same!The light strikes are my rifles fault prob....I'm ordering 2 more! NOTE: bought some C products for this a couple of years back...C Products are JUNK!!!!

Don't know what happened, but everyone else wrote GREAT reviews on these... I bought 4 of them and none of them feed worth a darn. Especially the first 25 rounds... get ready to pull the charging handle to the rear for EVERY shot. When the mag is more than half empty, it starts running a little better, but overall, the performance is severely lacking. Then follower is plastic and does not fit with the close tolerances it should have, and thus the lug at the back which locks the bolt open after the last shot RARELY pushes up the bolt-catch after that last shot. Since I took pliers to mine and tried to MAKE them work, I guess I'll be stuck with this junk until I can buy some name brand (BushM@$Tr or Rm@Lit3) mags that actually work.

After shooting with this magazine last weekend, all I can say is AWESOME! We must have put 600 rounds through these bad boys and NOT ONE misfeed! Loading was easy too. We tried with the AR speedloader (LULA), it worked with a bit of wiggling, BUT they loaded very smooth/effortless by hand.

I bought 3 of these, and I am super happy with them, (or at least on of them so far). I oaded 1 all the way up 3 times and had zero feed issues with it. The gun that I rented came with a c-products magazine that wouldn't feed just about every other round. These magazines should be the only magazine you consider when building your AR-7.62x39 (or whatever you want to call it)
