The PMAG is a lightweight 5.56x45 NATO (.223 Remington) AR15/M16 compatible magazine. It features an advanced impact resistant polymer construction, a pop off Impact/Dust Cover for storage, and an easy to disassemble design with a flared floorplate for positive magazine extraction from pouches. The PMAG 30 utilizes a resilient stainless steel spring for corrosion resistance and a anti tilt, self lubricating follower for increased reliability.

The PMAG MagLevel features transparent windows on both sides of the body and has a painted indicator on the spring for quick determination of approximate rounds remaining in the magazine.

The Gen 2 revision has been updated with a new body ribbing design which allows for better compatibility with aftermarket mag couplers, a new follower which gives even smoother loading with military stripper clips, and the Impact/Dust Cover can now be snapped onto the floorplate when not in use to prevent possible loss. Along with larger windows and round count numbers on the body, the PMAG MagLevel's stainless steel magazine spring is now coated with mil spec black oxide and the indicator coil painted with a high visibility orange color. Note: Magpul has recently released the Gen 3 M3 Magazine. The magazines listed on this page are Gen 2 PMAGs with the dust covers. The M3 magazines will have a different part number when we receive them.

these mags are so cool! I just ordered another two and they got here fast. These are the only mags i will use in my S&W. Magpul makes great products and even though these are not the new M mags you still cant beat $ 12. so get them before they go up in price. Very easy to load and the dust cover protects the feed lip when fully loaded. best mags ever

I ran one of these mags over with a Hummvee, twice, and then used it to qualify on the rifle range. I have not had a single magazine related issue with these mags. These things are grunt proof. Take it from a grunt, who has abused these things pretty well. They are lighter than other mags of equal strength made of metal, and you can get them in other colors. What could be better. Seriously, buy one, and run it over with your truck. You can even make it a fully loaded full size if you wish. I recommend these to friends who are still in the Marines, to take with them to combat. Try them, you'll love them. Semper Fi.

There is not "French mistake" here, as canned heat would want you to believe. The window is plastic, not just a slot cut in, so there is no worry about debris, sand, dirt, dust or other things coming into the mag through the window. I hate reviews from people that have OBVIOUSLY never handled the product. Now, I have to say that the indicator isn't worth the 3 dollar difference between this and the one without the window TO ME. However, tests have shown that there is no difference in structural stability or ruggedness between the two.

Where do I begin? Realy good spring,smooth operation, and seats up tight to my Rock River AR-15. Same on the S&W M&P. Reasonable price and the dust cover a real plus.
