The PMAG is a lightweight 5.56x45 NATO (.223 Remington) AR15/M16 compatible magazine. It features an advanced impact resistant polymer construction, a pop off Impact/Dust Cover for storage, and an easy to disassemble design with a flared floorplate for positive magazine extraction from pouches. The PMAG 30 utilizes a resilient stainless steel spring for corrosion resistance and a anti tilt, self lubricating follower for increased reliability.

The PMAG MagLevel features transparent windows on both sides of the body and has a painted indicator on the spring for quick determination of approximate rounds remaining in the magazine.

The Gen 2 revision has been updated with a new body ribbing design which allows for better compatibility with aftermarket mag couplers, a new follower which gives even smoother loading with military stripper clips, and the Impact/Dust Cover can now be snapped onto the floorplate when not in use to prevent possible loss. Along with larger windows and round count numbers on the body, the PMAG MagLevel's stainless steel magazine spring is now coated with mil spec black oxide and the indicator coil painted with a high visibility orange color.

Note: Magpul has recently released the Gen 3 M3 Magazine. The magazines listed on this page are Gen 2 PMAGs with the dust covers. The M3 magazines will have a different part number when we receive them.

I LOVE THEM, I bought 4 of them when they were on special. I couldn't be happier. I emptied every one of them and never had a jam. I wish I had these when I was doing my tour in IRAQ. I'm getting ready to head to Lackland AFB to go to CATM school (AF people know what that means). These will be in my mag pouches.

Mags are a great product....I paid extra for the 3-5 day express. However on day five I waited all day for them to arrive. Not impressed with the timely delivery.

I got two of these for my first ever build. They work flawlessly. Only problem I had is they hold 31 rounds, and in my case it wouldnt allow the reciever to operate until I recounted the quantity. It's a great mag, and no problems. Stick with the plastic polymer, because they won't rust, easier to maintain, and almost indestructible. Nice...

I bought two of these to test out with my RRA. They fit and functioned very well in two trips to the range. They do accept the LULA loader, which makes for easier loading. I like these better than the metal magazines I have tried, as they are lighter and quieter. The only caution I have is that they are very tight in my friend's DPMS. Both are 5.56 rated rifles, so I'm not sure of why the difficulty in the DPMS. Still, I was very pleased and purchased a couple more.

These mags are the simply the best I've seen yet. No more scratched forearms from sharp metal corners, when using mag pouches on the front of my vest. And CTD could't have got them to me faster if they had bent over backwards trying!
