AK-74 30 round 5.45x39mm magazine. This U.S. made magazine holds 30 rounds of 5.45x39mm ammo. Along with a rugged exterior, it also features a heavy duty magazine spring and anti-tilt follower. It is available in Black, Dark Earth, and OD Green. This mag also counts as three (3) Sec. 922r compliance parts (when inserted in your rifle). Hands down the best polymer magazine I have invested in. It holds 30 rounds and doesn't tilt. I have zero issues with feeding or loading. I will continue to buy as many as possible.

I have six of these magazines, and all six performed perfectly. I loaded them and left them fully loaded for a period of three months. Went to the range and they all worked fine. The feed lips do not have a metal cage which could be a problem if one was dropped. The polymer these mags are made of is not as strong as, say Magpul, but it works. You can take your finger nail and dig into the feed lip area. But they work, so no complaints from me.

This is my 3rd aftermarket mag and the first one to not work for me. Fit into my AK just fine but would not feed bullets correctly. Doesn't seem to be enough tension on the spring to feed the bullet fast enough before the bolt slams in the bullet. Looks good though, has a nice 'aggressive' curve. Using a Romanian AK74

I didn't think a hard plastic mag would be near as good as a steel mag until I got these. I was very impressed with these mags. Feeds great, loads easy, and is super simple to take apart. Stop hesitating and buy a couple!!

I was a bit hesitant to buy these, as I was getting them for my Saiga IZ-240-not "exactly" the AK74. From what I had read, I thought that I was going to have to modify the trunnion to make these fit. Instead, I was pleased to find out that these worked flawlessly with ZERO modifications. They are sturdy, easy to load, feed well, and fit the magazine well like a glove--not to mention that they're the cheapest around!

Tapco gets it right with these mags. I've put these things, along with their 7.62 brothers, through hell and back with no issue. They're just as dependable as any of the "commie" mags I've used, and the price is a hell of a lot more reasonable. Nice fit, flawless feed, and a great finish. Get some, you won't be disappointed. Just got 4 of these in today and they fit great in my arsenal sgl31. I was a bit hesitant to order any more tapcos just because the 2 I have for my sgl21 (ak47) required a bit of filing and racking the carrier back and forth to get a proper fit, but that isn’t so with the ak74 mags. They fit perfectly right out of the bag with very, very little wobble. I haven’t had a chance to get them to the range yet, so I gave it 4 stars for now, but if they feed anything like ak47 mags I have from tapco then they should be a 5 star rating. The ak47 mags as stated above require a bit of fitting, but I have never had any problems with feeding or anything like that with them. Definitely a good mag to stock up on especially with the price of bakelites and arsenal mags nowadays.

I bought 3 of these magazines and they arrived the next day. The packaging wasn't great, but the contents were. All 3 were individually sealed. I tried out all 3 with absolutely no feeding problems. They fit great in my AK 74 Polish Tantal. Very minimal wobble. All springs seem to work just fine.

Ordered 2 of these. They worked just as good as my 2 Russian surplus mags. They seem to be a little loose in my AK74 Bullpup, but it doesn't seem to affect feeding. Springs seem strong for 30 round capacity. I will probably order a couple more soon!

These mags are reliable and function very well for me, however the mags as they come from the factory do not fit my Lancaster AK-74. I have to shave down two "lips", one on each side, of the mouth of the mag in order for the mag to fit into the magwel. Aside from that the magazine is great.

I can only compare this to the 1 Bulgarian and 1 Polski magazines that came with my Tantal. I like the magazine, it fits my Tantal extremely well, no wobble, and gives a satisfying, clean 'click' when I put it in. It isn't hard to get in like the too tight Bulgarian, but does not have the very slight wobble of the polish model (apparently similar to the current russian production). The magazine is also a bit lighter than those other two as well, and the cool grooves and stuff make it look sharp and a little easier to handle. My only complaint is that there are not more holes in the back to see how much ammo is left. There is only 1 at the bottom. That said...I suppose if you were a handyman you could probably create more holes in the back if desired....Bottom Line: Highly Recommend Magazine.

Well, gone with Tapco for several items now, and still have yet to be disappointed. These mags are, IMHO, just as good as the surplus mags, and for a lot cheaper. I Have had these things covered in mud, through rain, and still no problems. Do the bullets rattle ever-so-slightly in the mag? Well, no more than they do in my circle 10's and 21's. Can't see any reason to give them less than 5 bullets. Tough, cheap, and American made. Will be buying several more. Stand fast, Patriots. God bless.

Decided to order 2 even after the not so great reviews. Mine functioned flawlessly for 120 rounds and fit even better than the surplus mags that came with my AK-74. Got to go order a few more... Bye.

I bought 4 of these magazines. The first thought was they were well made. Loaded magazines and noticed a problem with springs. Disassembled the magazines and discovered they had springs installed that were for smaller magazines. The springs were a full seven inches shorter than the bulagarian magazines I have. These magazines when loaded allowed the ammunition to rattle in the mag. Tapco was contacted, but never responded. I ended up purchasing new springs from another source in order to make them serviceable.

I purchased only one of these to try out for a Bulgarian AK-74. It functioned just how I thought a Tapco Magazine would, perfect. The only flaw is that the AK-47 magazines, I have for my WASR fit snug with no wobble. The AK-74 magazine had a little wobble with it but nothing terrible. I'd buy this again if it wasn't on backorder...
