||Bulgarian AK-74 - 8/5/2011|
|Ordered two of these for my Bulgarian AK-74 - they're very solid, the springs are strong enough to provide reliable feeding, and the fit in my receiver was quite acceptable (no wobble). The rounds do rattle about in the magazine a bit, but it's still much quieter than my AK-47 steel magazines. I put twenty rounds through each Tapco magazine at the range yesterday and had zero issues - these are fantastic for zeroing your sights or a scope, shooting prone, and etc. The gun also looks fantastic with these magazines, if you're just out for the aesthetic value.
My only concern with these magazines is their solid polymer construction - all of my surplus magazines have steel feed lips and have shown minimal signs of wear. I don't think that these magazines will function as long as the bakelite and Circle 10/21/etc. mags. Regardless, for the price and the 922r compliance parts, these are good, reliable magazines. Highly recommended.|
