I purchased this mag after reading the gentleman from NJ's review on cutting the follower and turning it into a 15 round magazine, which is the limit in NJ. I recently had to move back to NJ and will be here for a few years, so I tried out the suggestion. Just a note of caution: BE CAREFUL WHERE YOU CUT! I ended up guestimating where to cut the follower by tightly stacking five 7.62x39mm rounds on my desk (pointing up) and eyeballing where I needed to use my Dremel tool. It worked great. Unfortunately, I failed to take into consideration the fact that the tips of the cartridges pack together more tightly than the bases in the magazine itself. To my chagrin, 16 rounds loaded into the magazine just beautifully, instantly rendering it illegal! I immediately destroyed the follower and am awaiting a replacement follower from a Tapco suggested retailer of said part, so I can try again. Measure twice, cut once, Dumb *ss!

Ordered and then read the reviews later, got kinda worried after reading but it was a different story when i got the mag it seated perfectly with no mods thanks CTD and Tapco will be ordering a few more for the range.

Magazine is too wide. I have purchased hundreds of items from CTD and this will be the first that I have returned. What does it say about the quality of a magazine if you have to grind/file the sides to make it the same size as a surplus magazine. I will stick to surplus AK Magazines. Truely disappointed in Tapco. This is also the first review that I have written. I don't want anyone else to purchase this junk.

Ordered this for my wasr 10, did not fit. It was very tight in the mag well, the back tab was way too big, the mag-catch couldn't snap back to lock the mag in place. Required 15 mins of dremel sanding on the entire top that enters the rifle. The back tab needed to be sanded to be made much smaller. Seems like the mold was scaled a little too big, maybe its just my wasr- I don't know. But anyways, after that it fits pretty good. Took it to the range today, feed my ak perfectly. Good light mag to take to the range, never put more than 10 in at a time there anyway.

These do not fit my Saiga, part that catches on the mag release is too big compared to the factory.
