Multi-band radio will keep you up to date in any emergency or disaster situation. Radio receives 11 bands including AM/FM, Shortwave 1 and 2, and seven NOAA Weather bands, to include weather alert signals. Also features an LED flashlight and reading lamps. The Voyager is capable of five types of rechargeable power including a dynamo crank, adjustable solar panel, AA batteries, the built-in rechargeable battery pack, and it can even charge from a computer via USB port. This radio is also designed to charge other electronics such as cell phones and iPods. The Voyager includes a carrying strap, six cell phone adaptors, an earphone, and a USB cable. This is the most complete emergency radio we have seen, and it is available to you at a bargain price.

This is a great emergency radio. You can run it with at least four different energy sources. (AC, AA Batteries, Crank, Solar) It does not come with a A/C adapter to charge the internal battery but a USB is provided. You can plug the USB into most cell phone chargers to charge it. You can also use the crank or solar ( not the preferred method - crank is better ) to charge other electronics like cell phone. It seems fairly well made but it will be in the home and not be abused. I have read some bad reviews on the crank. It is not designed to be cranked quickly. Don't try to spin the crank at 100 rpm and it works fine.

Dynamo crank \ 1 min.= 15 min - solar panel powers radio, but only 4 min battery power. Maybe battery is bad ? Still a good radio . Will check on new battery- 2 days in window, in direct sun light.
