Used by NATO coalition troops in Afghanistan and Iraq, these scarves serve as a head cover as well as to shield the mouth and nose from blowing dust and sand. Also works well when worn around the neck to prevent rubbing and chafing from slings, body armor, and load bearing vests.

Let me start by saying that I own many shemaghs and this particular one is right up at the top. 100% cotton and it feels very durable. I recently returned from North Africa, where shemaghs are widely used and are as well a cultural item, and I purchased a handful of handmade shemaghs while I was over there. This particular one is going to stay in my kit at all times simply based on its quality aspects. The jolly roger patter is unique and really sets it apart from others available, which should be obvious. Another thing I would like to stress about this purchase is the absolute promptness of CTD, as I ordered this shemagh and chose the 7-10 day shipping and it came in 2 days. Unbelievable!!! This is why I will always be a loyal customer with CTD. Excellent product and excellent job to everyone at CTD. Pick one of these up, as you will NOT be sorry!!
