Item: HAT-124

Original German Kevlar combat helmet complete with leather suspension system, sweat band, and chin strap. Designed to cover your head and ears to prevent head injury during combat. These are used in Grade II Condition, size Large.

All Military surplus products are used, the condition of the products varies, and the quantities may be limited.
Surplus condition scale:
Grade I - Used in like new to excellent condition.
Grade II - Used in good condition, may show minor use.
Grade III - Used in fair condition, will show normal wear and tear from daily use.

Helmet arrived in brand new condition, not so much as a scratch. While the suspension equipment is newer higher quality soft plastic it was a little snug even when adjusted to the largest size on an average sized head. Straps and lining were very comfortable however, liked the quick-release clasp. Great addition to anyones "JIC Cache." I read the review about the guy shooting his with a .32 right after he got it to test it out, but it wasn't listed as bulletproof on CTD. Supposedly it deflected it though. Props to him for putting a $100 helmet in the line of fire to prove quality!

My helmet was in NEW and perfect condition and shares a lot in common with my PLA Chinese army steel helmet so well my Chinese 07 digital helmet cover fits it.

I received this Kevlar today. As usual, the shipping from Cheaper Than Dirt was amazingly fast. I opened the box and there was the helmet; wrapped in bubble wrap, I gazed upon a brand-new, unmarred, virgin helmet. The inside head band is extremely comfortable with a soft band and mesh net which prevents one's head from contacting the hard helmet. For any old warrior's out there, this is miles ahead of the old PASGT helmets. Granted, if you want something that wears like a boonie cap, then you should get the new MICH helmet with the foam inserts; however, for the fiscally conscious patriot, this helmet is for you.
