I received this stand yesterday, two days after ordering it! Great service CheaperThanDirt! I read all reviews I could find on this item before purchasing and I think HySkore has fixed some minor problems. The cleaning tray, described as being flimsy, is not. It is made of medium thickness plastic and is plenty sturdy enough for its intended use. All pads, described as too flimsy and prone to falling out, are also very well done. I am extremely happy with the fit and function of this stand. I plan to use it mostly for cleaning and gunsmithing. The hold down strap and adjustable middle rest make it superb for those uses. I highly recommend this stand and would buy another one in a heartbeat if needed.

Used this rest to sight in several rifles, 30-06, 270, and 2 diffrent 308's. Very stable platform to shoot from, very adjustable, will let you hold nice tigh groops at the range. My only complaint, is once your rifle is secure in the vice, it is quite akward to look thru your scope. One suggection would be to get a hydraulic trigger actuator so you do not injure yourself on the rear clamp adjustment screws. All in all it was very helpfull in sighting in my rifles, I would recommend it.

i recently bought this vise for sighting scopes. ive found that it holds the gun extremely well and stable. its very easy to adjust the height of the vise or even the angle but theres nothing for the side to side adjustments you half to move the actual vise. its not intended for shooting out of but comes with instructions to show you how to move it around and make a shooting rest out of it. the plastic trays it comes with are extremely thin and cheap. its awkward to use a scope with it unless you have the gun placed as far back as possible. the construction is solid and stable so i think this is a very good vise for working on guns but so so for sighting in scopes.
