The bipod is constructed well and the features are nice. I was looking for a bit longer extension though. With an M4 loaded with a 30 round magazine, with the legs fully extended, this bipod barely gets the mag off the ground. If you are planning on doing any shooting in the prone position, get a different bipod.

I had it on my Savage .17HMR and it fits perfectly. if you loosen the swivel on your Savage and attach the provided swivel, then tighten it up, it fits. I'm using the bipod on my Savage and MP15-22. Excellent! Two birds with one stone.

This bipod is not only inexpensive, it works great! I mounted it onto my Russian SKS, not with the swivel mount, but using the rail mount instead. I had previously purchased a universal barrel mount (SCP-068) from CTD to give me some more options with the T6 Tapco stock. These two items work perfectly together, and I am very pleased with the overall performance and appearance.

Shipping is freaking fast! For the product, personally, I think it’s better built than a Harris bipod. There are no bulky springs and the weight of this UTG is not comparable. The only problem I have with this bipod is that it’s made in CHINA, but don’t let that change your mind about the product. Trust me you won’t be disappointed with a UTG bipod!!!

I bought this for my Savage .17HMR. It does not fit on the swivel stud. It seems nice anyway so I will hold onto for some other use.
