The UTG Ranger field bag is perfect to keep your hands free while gearing your gear in the field. It is constructed of heavy duty material with waterproof inner lining. The UTG Ranger field bag is designed to be battle field friendly with hideaway well padded and adjustable ergonomic backpack straps, even providing a light/tool keeper. The bag has a properly sealed all around storm flap and Velcro lock down zip flap. Additional padding on the top of the bag allows for comfortable carry on the back. Protects your gear while in the field, hunting, or camping.

Ranger Field Bag or Pack, Army Digital. This bag is large enough to pack all your gear and stout enough to hold it all. Constructed of PVC with a waterproof lining. Measures 36x17x12." Reinforced at all major stress points. 2" woven wrap around handle and two heavy end handles for carrying. Features two zippered end pockets, two side pockets with hook & loop fastener. Interior map pocket, secure clear ID pocket, zipper closure with storm flap and three snap lock buckles to secure your gear. Heavy duty, adjustable padded shoulder straps allow you to convert the bag to a backpack and comfortably carry the pack on your back. Imported. I bought this bag to use for the Gun Range, and for storage of my other B.O.B items. I was very surprised that, even as big as the bag was, when they manufactured this bag, they did not make the opening long enough. Hence, I can't fit any kind of rifle in the bag. Even taking apart my AR-15 into two pieces, the barrel was still too long to fit into the main opening. My shorter Marlin 30-30 wouldn't even fit. I guess it's only designed for pistols, ammo, mags, shooting equipment, shooting mat, ear protection, ammo cans, etc. But NOT RIFLES. SUCKS BAD. Now I'm going to have to invest in a bag designed specifically for holding rifles. The double rifle bag looks good, but don't waste your money if you think you can fit a rifle in there, because you can't. All they have to do is make the zipper opening another 2-3 inches longer and problem solved.

Got this bag Saturday, it is everything that was described. Got the darker digital camo, at least darker than the one pictured which was perfect. Put it on my back nice and comfortable the rain flap cover doubles as a head cushion in that position nice. Construction appears sound and strong, good stitching. I bought this for a BOB bag. Replacing my existing BOB because I needed more room, wanted the backpack capability, and something waterproof. Man does this bag fit the need! I stuffed it with everything from my existing bag and only filled it half way. Note that other than the two pockets on the outside and the Map pocket on the inside there are no other dividers or pockets. This is fine with me as I have several nylon ditty bags to organize my gear which makes finding and removing the items I need easy. Wanted to mention it just in case some one was looking for additional organizational compartments. This thing is huge on the inside much bigger than I expected! Now I need to fill it up! Ordered Friday got it Saturday that is some shipping! Thanks CTD.

Bought this bag and love it. Fits everything I need and more. Problem I have is the extra space allows stuff to slide around unless filled with extra padding when putting to use the backpack feature. Still happy with the bag, but wish there was some way to brace things in the main compartment.

This thing is everything they say it is.. Big and heavy duty will hold more than you can lift inside. Seems to be waterproof zippers are nice and heavy built. I loaded it down with 3 pistols, pistol grip shotgun, crossdraw vest, 2 50 cal ammo cans full of ammo. Still had plenty of room for more stuff. Im going to buy one in black soon enough.

A fantastac bag in almost every respect noted in previous reviews. The one exception is the six little rubber feet on the bottom. One luckily fell off in shipping revealing the needle sharp little tack that "holds" it on. BEWARE: this creates a dangerous situation. If you just toss this bag on your shoulder or toss it to some one else loading---IT WILL CUT YOU. I cut the liner in one small spot in the middle, removed all the tacks and replaced them with larger screws cemented in with waterproof adhesive. Seems to be fine now. CTD, I would pull this product until the problem is corrected by your supplier. It is a liability to you.
