Magpul's MOE Hand Guard allows you to keep the light weight of a polymer hand guard but add the flexibility of a modular Picatinny rail system. This revolutionary design incorporates slots at the two, six, and ten o'clock positions where Picatinny rail sections can be added to accommodate tactical lights, lasers, vertical grips, or other accessories. Constructed of a reinforced heat-resistant polymer, the MOE hand guard is tough enough to hold up to the abuse of battle. Magpul has also added front extensions and a lower lip to provide additional protection from hot front sight gas blocks.

Use the Magpul MOE Illumination Kit (ARR-863) to mount a light, laser, or other accessory to your MOE handguard.

I want to start off by saying that magpul makes quality products. And this is no exception. It is one of the most comfortable hand guards on the market. And to boot its one of the cheapest. Magpul hit one out of the park when they designed the MOE line of products. Now on to CTD. Shipping is always great. Maybe its because I'm only 1 state over from them. but if i order before 5pm. Its at my door then next day. And you cant beat that with a stick. I've seen some comments about how CTD is a middle man and you pay mark up. Well all i can say about that is unless you buy from the manufacturer, you will pay a mark up. Hell when you buy a taco from the bell your paying a mark up from the suppliers of the food your eating. How else would a business stay alive? So whatever to that. The service is great and so are the products.

This product will fit the Stag Model 8 (piston driven AR15, so long as you have the time and right tools to make room in the upper half for the gas tube and piston assembly, just behind the gas block. I used a drill press (w/ 5/8" fostner bit) and a rat tail file to make the adjustments, and it looks and feels great. If MagPul had a Piston Driven model ready to go, I would have rated this a 5.

Awesome product! Fits great, feels A LOT better than stock handguard. Would have given it 5 stars, but I also bought regular handguard rails and they didn’t fit. I read and heard that it would use regular rails, but there’s a reason why Magpul make rails for it. Just needed longer screws and I got it to"fit".
