Designed for use with MOE Hand Guards and many standard plastic hand guards, the MOE Polymer Rail Sections allow the attachment of various 1913 Picatinny spec rail-mounted accessories such as lights, vertical grips, etc.
Injection molded from a proprietary reinforced composite for enhanced strength and durability while remaining lightweight, Rail Sections also feature beveled ends to reduce snagging and eliminate sharp corners and edges.
All hardware necessary for attachment directly to integral mounting slots on MOE Hand Guards is included.
Size L5 (11 Slots), max overall length of 4.9". Mounting screw center-to-center of 3.2".

Just buy it. Little to no modification to get it to fit a standard hand guard. I've bought two of them. For the price, if you just want to add a secure rail for a grip, this is the ticket.

I picked this up so I could install a foregrip on my S&W M&P15 Sport. Easy to install (comes with metal screws and washers). Works perfectly, for a fraction of the cost of a whole new handguard system.
