The Timney AR-10 trigger is a self-contained, 100% drop-in unit ready to install in your rifle for an exceptionally smooth, crisp, single-stage trigger pull. No gunsmithing, fitting, or adjusting required. Pull weight is factory set at four pounds. The lightweight, 6061 T6 alloy housing is anodized for superior durability and the hammer is EDM machined from S7 steel to create the hardness and impact resistance for long-term heavy use. A Teflon Nickel coating is applied to the hammer to deliver a super smooth trigger pull. The AR-10 trigger installs using your rifle's original hammer/trigger pins.

I finally had the chance to try this AR-10 Timney out in my M&P 15X the other day along with my scope. What a difference in pull versus the stock 7 pound. I had to get use to how lite this trigger was to pull, super sensitive.I do not regret buying this trigger. I bought the AR-10 version instead of the AR-15 Timney, because it has a stronger hammer springer & bigger hammer. I read it on a couple forums that when using the AR-15 Timney Trigger with Military Spec NATO 5.56mm that you will sometimes get lite primer strikes. This does not happen if you use the AR-15 Timney tiggger with civilian leo spec .223 rounds. I personally called Timney to verify this information and they confirmed it and suggested to use the AR-10 Timney if you are primarily will be shooting NATO 5.56 rounds. The install was super easy. Note if you have a Colt Ar-15, The sear block has to be removed, Timney removes the sear block for a fee, I read that on the instruction manual. Buy this trigger, well worth the price.
