I've gone through three mounts for my red dot site and this site is finally what worked. I previously ordered another 45 degree mount, but the other one places the site way too far beside the gun, but this one keeps it next to the gun body which works great for me. Great price, too.

I purchased this as a quick-n-easy mount for an AR15 I'd thrown a rail adapter on. It is rock solid, inexpensive, and does precisely what it's supposed to. I mated it to a dot scope on the right hand side to work with the existing 4-power scope. This setup works extremely well for me; I can rotate the rifle about 30 degrees left without changing cheek weld and sight through the dot no problem. I'm sure it would also be handy for mounting lights, lasers, etc. 5 bullets!

This is a great little piece to have around for lights, lasers or red dots. It is very sturdy and easy to use with quick on and off. A really great piece, especially at the price!
