I have a Bushmaster AR-15. This is the first item I upgraded. It took me about 15 mins to install with no tools, very easy. Looks great on the gun.

It was a little difficult to install but, once I figured out that it fits over the front ring, it was a snap. It was harder getting the covers on

I read the other review the day after I had ordered mine and was concerned! However I found this to be a great product, don’t let the "oval word" worry you it's not! Having worked with M16s and installed other hand guards costing much more this one is a very good alternative. Just keep in mind the front go’s inside the front cap and fits very well. Have no fear, buy this and you won't be disappointed!!

Just got the hand guard in the mail and was looking forward to putting it on today. It seems the oval style is not a style and is in fact the shape to include the lips that go into the hand guard. It Does not fit any of the mil-spec M-4s we have tried it on. This must be made for a paintball gun? It also has to be screwed on. The Aluminium Quad Rails seem to be made well, just wont fit anything. Sending this rail back and just paying the 50 bucks more for something else.
