I used this grip for the tactical stock on my Mini-14. It's very comfortable. I prefer it angled a couple notches toward the mag, which gives me the best steady and comfortable hold. I keep a small oil cloth in the storage space.

I gave a 4 bullet rating because when I received mine, it had a small blemish on the mounting part. Not a big deal, but it did slip through quality control. Also, the push button locking control works, but it is a little rough. Not a smooth piece of machinery. Overall, I recommend this product. It does fit tight on the rail, and in terms of function, it is 100%.

You won't regret this purchase. It's not huge, so it don't take up a lot of space. Has 5 positions from up to straight down & 2 forward in case you’re on a rooftop shooting at ZOMBIES. Locks firmly into each position with a push button gear style pivot. I've now shot many rounds with it attached to my AR15 without any issues or problems of any kind. Made in ISRAEL. I love it .

Grip is great. I was hesitant at first because I was worried about the play I’ve felt in some other folding grips but this one is solid!!! Has very little play but definitely will not break on you even if dropped and all 7 positions are great folded all the way back. It sits at the same level as the mag well. Very sleek.

This grip changed my opinion of folding grips. As usual CTD was quick to ship and when I received the grip I immediately installed it. There are several 'teeth' that catch and hold the grip in place, and it wouldn't be possible for the grip to slip positions without breaking the entire piece. This grip solved my dilemma of having a traditional feel versus a close quarters tactical feel. With this solid folding grip I have both.

Like the reviewer below, the grip I received had 2 set screws instead of the quick-release lever. The grip also has storage in the integrated compartment but there is not an o-ring so it's probably not water tight. Otherwise the grip seems to be of good build quality and is comfortable in my hand.

Great solid grip that installs easily. The one I received did not have a lever as pictured, but tightened with 2 slotted screws. Not a problem though.

Awesome grip, especially for the price. VERY little wiggle in any of the positions. Its also one of the few grips that I've seen that will lock PAST vertical (bottom of the grip slightly forward of the top).

Got my grip today and its just whatI was looking for. A folding vertical grip that locks in place and this one does. This is one of the better ones I've seen at this price.

I took some time trying to find a folding grip for my AR15. I read multiple reviews on different models with none of them having great reviews. I took a chance on this one, and I am glad I did. This grip is GREAT. No wiggle in the folded position or locked down position. If you are looking for a folding grip that doesn't rattle around in the down position.... give this one a try.
