Webpage shows 1 single mount to choose from, says it fits "most 1 in tubes". Well, I received it in the mail and there are 4 types to choose from shown on the package. SM-G, E, CK, or OCG. And my surefire with an "approximate 1 in tube" doesn't fit. So now I gotta call, box it up, and go ship it back. What a hassle.

Description says it fits most 1" tubes. Well, it fits exactly ZERO 1.00" tubes. Good grief, do we have to force a mil-spec here? It fits 1.025 - 1.040 inches per manufacturer AND my experience. I gave this a 1-star because I bought a Surefire 6PX to go with this mount. You'd figure a 1" light and 1" mount would be plug-n-play, right? Nope. I'd like to give Surefire a 1-bullet here for doing such a poor job getting us operators out of the dark and hooked up seamlessly with a proper mount. Really, why is it light OEMs have to make this so [bleeping] difficult for operators to get a proper, no-fuss [bleeping again] mount to fit their tactical lights Johnny on the spot?! I know you OEMs want to sell us expensive lights, but unless you're going to come along and HOLD IT for us, it's useless. Alarmingly, I'm seeing this problem increasingly creep, and it's desecrating what's supposed to be a no B/S-zone: tactical ops. By this I mean guys running .8" tubes, .9", 1.00", 1.02"...it's kluge. What's next, my 5.56 rounds won't fit my buddy's 5.57???? Otherwise...this is a 5-star product: quick release, made with quality components, well designed and fabbed. So, if your light happens to fit, you'll really appreciate Vltor's attention to detail here. However, consumers shouldn't waste their time thinking this might fit a true 1.00" light tube. It doesn't. One solution: A helpful, responsive Vltor agent indicated only the Scout Mount offset (ARR-467) would works with a true 1.00" light (he actually confirmed fitment; also noted the Model# SM-CK that CTD doesn't carry will not fit either). So Surefire? Pay attention to detail...and KISS.

I bought these when I was looking for a reasonably priced basic light mount. They work great, are well made and are priced right. If you need a good straight light mount buy this one.
