Made popular on the 5.55/.223 caliber AR and M4 platform, Troy's TRX-308 Battle Rail takes this revolutionary platform and makes it compatible with the AR's larger and more powerful .308 brethren. Sleek, lightweight, and low profile, it provides a stable foundation for mounting optics, bipods, or other accessories to your low profile DPMS LR-308 rifle. Included with the package is the handguard, high strength barrel nut, and three quick detach rails. Machined from 6061-T6 hardened aircraft aluminum and finished in Mil-Spec Type III hard coat with Teflon. Length 13.8". Rail and Barrel Nut, Weight 12.6 Ounces.



The older “High Profile” upper receiver has a 3/16? wide top portion where the charging handle is installed.

Purchased for new DPMS low profile upper receiver, alignment was perfect, Sleek low pro adj. gas block cleared no problem with match ss 18" barrel. Awesome rail that can't be beat at the price!

Bought this rail for my DPMS Oracle in .308, fell in love with the rail, and was planning on putting it on an AR-15 but bought a .308 instead and was extremely happy to see it came in a .308 version also. Out of the box, the rail is very light and of a high quality finish. Put the rail on for a dry run to see how it fit and let's just say it looks amazing. It's exactly what I wanted. It changes the look entirely and with this length rail on a 16" barrel, it's perfect. If you have a DPMS .308 made after 2008, yours will most likely be the low profile receiver, and if you have an Oracle, all you have to do is grind off the Picatinny rail on the gas block and you are good to go. Will give another review once I get a barrel nut wrench and torque it down so I can go shoot it and test it out for function, hence me only giving it 4 bullets. Still not sure if you need a .308 Armorer's wrench to torque the Troy b/n or if an AR-15 wrench will work.

I wanted a sleek and very light free float tube for my 16" barred rifle. I chose this one and was very impressed. I had to modify/cut down the factory gas block supplied on my gun so the tube would not touch. Very easy to do with a cut off wheel or grinder. After flash hider, gas block, handguard, and barrel nut was all removed. I tighted Troy barrel nut to specific tork, mounted my gas block, and threaded on my flash hider. Once all was fixed to my barrel, I was ready to mount the tube. It slid all the way down to the barrel nut and tighteded with one quarter turn. After snug, then tighted the two allen bolts supplied and now I have a great looking gun & free floating barrel. It comes with 3 Picatinny rails that can be mounted anywhere you choose. Very happy with the price and overall appearance. Thanks Troy & CTD.

One of the nicest rail systems I have seen. Extremely lightweight for 13". Fit my DPMS AP4 LR308 perfectly. Installation was very easy with an AR15 wrench and provided barrel nut. Removal of factory barrel nut required a 308 armorers wrench from DPMS. It was shipped with the wrong rail attachments probably from the factory. Called up Troy Industries and was told that I would have one in the mail today.

GREAT FIT AND FINISH. MADE MY DPMS LOOK AND FEEL GREAT.YOU NEED TO USE A TROY LOW PROFILE GAS BLOCK TO FIT RIGHT TRIED 2 OTHERS FIRST,NOT SUPPLIED WITH THIS SET UP,SO 4 OUT OF 5 BULLETS.
