I was a little worried after reading reviews. The pin fit through the left side of the carrier but felt too tight for the right side, so I worked the pin in and out of the left side until the pin had some visible wear on the tip where it forks. It fit perfectly after that.

This broke trying to put it in. I followed the directions. Why do I want to file my bolt carrier to insert this darn pin? Tolerances should be better than that for a $12 piece of metal this small.

I ordered 3 and before I put one in my Rock River I put a micrometer to them. These had variances of .018 inches. The first one I tried, the largest one, subsequently broke. The second one fit perfectly. A worthwhile upgrade, just buy more than one. If you don't break it you got a spare.

Pin fit great in my Oly bcg almost like it was made for it, no problems. Put900 rounds down range after puting it in. Solid.

Bout time someone went back to the original "Stoner" style of retainer. Fit the pin pocket of the carrier perfectly relieving that concern of mine. Instructions are clear and concise. If you break it during installation, well, you just didn't do it correctly.
