This is a nice riser rail for my S&W M&P 15-22. I had to get one to accommodate my Bushnell TRS-25. With this rail, I can still use my iron sites with the TRS-25.

I currently have this on my M&P 15-22. The 1" height lines up my holographic sight perfectly in my line of sight when raising the rifle from the ready position to the firing position. I don't have to dig my cheek into the stock like I do with the A2 iron sights. The stock lines up at the midpoint of my jaw. The only downside is that the height isn't tall enough to see the A2 sights. However, the thumb nuts on the rail allow for quick removal of the holographic for use of the A2's.
